BTW, where do you get these Zap2It guides for times so far in the future? Obviously the guide on their site only goes forward two weeks.
I get it from the TV Guide on my cable box.

According to my Zap2it guide there's some major schedule changes on the way starting March 1st. I checked the Zap2it.com website to try to confirm the changes but unfortunately the listings don't go out that far. However, I checked TV Guide.com and it confirms these changes so they seem legit to me.

8-9PM - Storm Stories
10PM-12AM - PM Edition Weekend
1-4AM - PM Edition Weekend

Weekdays
2-3PM - It Could Happen Tomorrow

According to Zap2it Storm Stories will indeed be returning at 8PM eastern February 22nd and yes, they will indeed be new episodes. Also on that day both airings of Forecast Earth are being replaced by PM Edition Weekend so the show will now run for 3 hours from 5-8PM eastern.

It looks like this won't be happening after all. Zap2it has the schedule out for Christmas and it's just a normal weekday schedule.

Everything Else TWC / Re: TWC Lays off Staff
« on: December 01, 2008, 10:56:34 AM »
TWC just updated the Bios page and Schwartz, Lemke and Deon are indeed gone. However it appears that the Forecast Earth staff as well as Jeff Mielcarz, Tetiana Anderson and Jorma Duran remain for now.

From Newsblues:

On the same week NBC celebrated “Green is Universal Week” by jetting crews to four distant locations, ostensibly to report on the environment, the Weather Channel, which is owned by NBC Universal, laid off the entire TWC Environmental Unit.

"Forecast Earth" aired weekends and was fronted by former CNN anchor Natalie Allen with contributions from TWC climate expert Heidi Cullen. The staff includes several producers and a photog.

In perhaps the ultimate irony, Allen urged viewers, in her final blog post on Monday, to embrace NBC's "Green is Universal event."

Tipsters in Atlanta says cuts continued yesterday and will most likely exceed the 50 job losses initially reported.

I found an article from USA Today and it says that Dave Schwartz, Cheryl Lemke and Eboni Deon are the 3 OCM's that have been layed off.

It looks like the extra Forecast Earth episodes will be airing at 2PM Eastern in place of the ICHT hour.
