The Saturday before last, I heard "Coup De Ville" by Gerald Veasley on Sonic Tap Smooth Jazz. It brought back good memories; the first thing I thought of was TWC in '03. Not only were the weather forecasts enjoyable then, but for me the weather itself was good to boot.

Pretty much anything on the '03 or '04 playlists would suit me. If I had to list just five, though, then they would be:

I had been a fan of TWC (and weather in general) since 2003, but I hadn't really watched the channel in a while except for severe weather coverage. Upon turning it on once again last week, I realized immediately that the LF was shorter than it used to be. Of course, the LF song was a vocal one which I had never heard on LOT8's before, but it didn't bother me as much as the reduced duration did. I'll be watching closely for any change to the 60-second forecast.
