... Potential for rapid fire spread today...

The combination of westerly winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to
30 mph... humidity levels dropping into the lower 30s and dry fine
fuels has resulted in conditions that are favorable for the spread
of brush fires... should such fires develop.

Residents should keep vehicles out of grassy areas and ensure
proper disposal of any smoking materials. It only takes a
carelessly disposed cigarette to ignite a fire.

If you spot a fire... please report it to authorities immediately.

I hate double-posting here, but it's still important enough for everyone:  Next Sunday on March 9 is when we spring forward to Daylight Saving Time, so don't forget what to do in a week from now. ;)

Thank goodness. Can't stand the dark evenings. So depressing.

38.5°F Overcast

Slowly loosing my snowpack
I'll take your  and give it a
:P

31°F with a few clouds and breezy.

There have been a few on and off flurries throughout the day, and a brief snow event overnight will bring about an inch or so. Outside of piles left by snow plows, the roads and grass here are pretty much free of snow after being well above freezing for five days.

I'd rather have a snow covered ground rather than dead grass and and dirt anyday.

31.3°F Heavy Snow w/ Sunshine
