Tough one. I guess I'll say fire as they are, in most cases, easier and less time consuming to put out rather than a flood (unless you are talking about wildfires, which is a different story).

Evergreen or deciduous (sp) trees?

What I hate about above ground electricity is when trees touch the wire, they get trimmed (at least here), meaning less and less oxygen in the air. Does the mayor of this town care about the environment?

Desktop fan. While they don't always produce as much air, they are less roomy.

Tornado or flood damage?

My dad's house has above ground electrical/telephone wires connected to it.

Sorry for the bad quality, but I had to save it as a JPEG file because apparently ImageShack no longer supports uploading PNG images. :(
A few days ago I was able to upload a PNG image on Imageshack.

I have still yet to eat anything from McDonald's or most other excessive fatty restuarants since 2003...

Breakfast: the same old thing
Lunch: none
Dinner: Buffalo chicken fajita from Chili's

It is funny Gil. You just have to learn how to laugh at jokes that are on you instead of taking them so seriously.  8)
I need to learn to do that too.

I didn't make the background. I found it from a site called InterfaceLIFT. They have some neat backgrounds there.

Sorry about the delay.  I forgot to post this here immediately after I posted the update over at the classics forum.

As with Philadelphia, the Big Apple will experience comfortable temperatures and low humidity for the weekend. The high humidity will return however by the middle of next week, so enjoy this nice weather while it lasts.

Despite the morning clouds and spotty showers, it is a very nice day today. The humidity is low and temperatures are actually slightly below where we typically see this time of year.

It's odd that you have the Weatherscan IntelliStar yet you still have the XL on TWC. Nice to see yet another Xl viewer! If only if I lived in a rural area...

General Discussion / Free converter for videos
« on: July 19, 2007, 11:17:29 PM »
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew any good completely free (not trials) programs that converts video formats to MPEG4's, which is the file required in order to work on the iPod. So far I tried a program called simply "Free iPod Video Converter" by Jodix and I often get an error saying "the memory could not be read. click OK to terminate the program." Thanks for your help.
