UPDATE 4/25/10:
Alright, I have done some more research and I have more accurate suggestions. (Sorry I didnt just edit my last post but I wanted to go in full edit mode.)

My first suggestion is about the fonts. Now I believe weatherscan used the "Akzidenz Grotesk Medium" set for the fonts; Medium, Medium Condensed, and Medium Extended. I have created a few images in powerpoint using the fonts listed above.

In the CC picture below, I used Medium Extended for the clock, conditions on the left, and the city name.

 
In the second CC picture below, I also used Medium Extended for the city names.


In the 36 hour picture below, I used Medium for the description, and Medium Extended for the city name and time of day.


For the Almanac, I used Medium Extended for eveything besides the day of the week.


And for the intro screen, I used Medium Extended for the message.


My only other suggestion right now is about the transitions. If you could slow down the faded transitions from slide to slide, and take out the black transitions when going from the Local Doppler to the CC, and Local Doppler to 36hr I think that would be better.

Last winter brought us a lot of snow, and the excessive moisture continued into March. Our monthly precip last month totaled 7.93 inches - about 4-5 inches above normal.

Yeah, the storm pattern has definitely favored the mid-Atlantic, and not the Midwest. The question is... will this pattern remain?

I sure hope not. I'm tired of all this rain and snow.

It's currently up right now. You know.. I have been pondering why nobody has decided to create a theme that looks like TWC's VIZ graphics for the emulator..

Hmm...when I click on CINE it asks me if I want to open or save the file.

Of all the YouTube changes, the only one that's really irked me is the new (now old) profiles. The whole setup is very un-user friendly.

Your not the only one who thinks that.  They made a blog about the new channels and 90% of the comments users made said that they didn't like it. IMO the whole site was better before. Another thing that bugs me is the new gmail connection w/ youtube. Now you have to make a stupid  gmail account just to sign up, and when you log out of your youtube, it logs you out of your gmail! Ah how I miss the days when you didnt have to have 10+ letter passwords... STOP F***ING UP THE SITE GOOGLE!

It shouldnt, I have 64x and it works fine.

Everything Else TWC / TWC Mobile Still Using XL Icons?

I got a new phone for Christmas and the other day I found something intersting on the "MediaNET" homepage...(MediaNET = the internet for phones). When I scrolled down to "weather" section I realized that the weather icons were none other than the XL icons! Heres a pic of the screen. Sorry about the bad quality, it's a webcam shot.

The sig rotator doesnt work. When I tried to upload an image it just says "There seems to be a problem with the setup of Signatures, please inform the Administrator that the images path is not writable. Thank You."
