"The Weather Channel Companies (TWCC) announced today it has greenlit "Hurricane Hunters," a new character-driven documentary series revealing the high-stakes world of pilots who fly planes into hurricanes to gather meteorological data from the eye of the storm. The show tracks their lives and dangerous missions during the height of hurricane season. Produced by Christian D'Andrea, Aleco Bravo, Rich Battista, and High Noon Entertainment, the series is comprised of 4x 30-minute episodes and will premiere in July 2012. "

Looks like another copycat long-form show. At least it has something to do with weather unlike Coast Guard Alaska.

They need to stop creating these shows because most of them are very similar. (this show is a Coast Guard Alaska copycat)

Paul Goodloe is doing Weather Center Live solo at 1AM ET. I think this is the first time an OCM appeared solo at this timeslot in a while I beleive.

During the 10AM Repeat of WUWA, they accidentally showed yesterday's episode! It took about 1 minute for them to realize it and they cut to a Live Weather Update with Mike Bettes until the commercial break.

Everything was back to normal after the LF when they showed today's episode.

Usually, 4 or 5 OCMS appear (Chris, Crystal, Jim, Kelly or Kim and Paul or Adam). 2 or 3 OCMS do segments, and 2 OCMs do the weather radar and headlines. They have doing this since about September and October.
