Mike Bettes just said something like that, when referring to the soapy looking stuff on a beach.  It's like... ok, where'd THAT come from??  That was the only thing I heard, when I was surfing the net, and it caught me off guard.  He must know something we don't.   :D

General Discussion / Some jackass had enough nerve to rip my video!
« on: September 08, 2008, 02:14:37 AM »

This guy ripped my Patrick O'Hearn video, and uploaded it under HIS name.  He didn't give me credit, nor did he say where he got it.  He even has MY video saved under his favorites, and he still ripped it!  :furious:

I sent him a message, letting him know what will happen, if he doesn't take it down.  Could you guys, please, back me up and do the same?

Local Forecast / Beth Michaels - Classic Voyage

I'm sure some of you have this song, already.  But today, I was finally able to get the song 'Classic Voyage' into my MP3 collection.  This is something I've been tracking down for months.

Local Forecast / Dan Siegel

Yeah, I'm showing off for a few minutes, be quiet.  x]

Anyway, a fellow YouTuber saw the LF from 1990 that I put up, with Dan Siegel playing.  He said he had the actual song, and I asked him to send it to me, and he did.  And therefore, I did the predictable and made a YouTube video about it.

  But it doesnt stop there.  If you want this mp3, which the guy told me is really hard to find, you know where to find me to get it.

Programming and Graphics / Old segment openers being re-used?
« on: July 26, 2008, 05:23:55 AM »
I just saw the opening for Weekly Planner, not too long ago, and they recycled the OLD Weekly Planner opening for the new one!  O_o  Like, it was the old footage, but with new music, and no narration.

I was really shocked, because I didn't have the audio on my TV the first time it played, and I seriously thought they were using the openers from 1998 to 2000-something, again.  <_<

I went on Trammel Stark's Myspace page to purchase some extra tracks, because I had $4 in my bank account, so I had enough money to actually buy them.  I picked out four tracks, bought them, and when I clicked to download them... Nothing.  No notifications, no pop ups, NO MUSIC, nothing.

I just wasted four freaking dollars on nothing.  I checked the Snocap website, where Trammel hosts his music, and the ONLY way to contact them was through snail mail.  No phone or email.  There isn't even a help section, incase crap like this happens.

I am f :furious: ing livid.  I seriously want to smash something with a ballbat, I'm so angry.  I literally wasted what was left of my money on nothing, thinking I was going to get some music.  Boy, was I wrong.

Is there anything that can be done about this?

OCMs & Personalities / Scary to watch...
« on: June 03, 2008, 01:33:40 AM »
Watching TWC in HD is actually really scary to watch.  They all look like living mannequins, like they're uber plastic, or something... especially Rich Johnson, who's on right now.  I guess it isn't scary to watch, but it's almost surreal.

TWC Fan Art / Nicole's Artwork
« on: May 30, 2008, 09:00:34 PM »
Well, sorry to disappoint, but as of now, I have no TWC artwork... at least, not now.  This is where you guys come in.

Since I'm not original, I'm going to take your requests for OCM artwork.  It can be of current or former OCM's, it can be serious or it can be funny, it can be whatever you want, as long as it's apropriate.  NO PORNO.  Sorry.  :P  Keep in mind, I do all my drawings by hand... so any requests will take at least two days.

I will post a list here in my original posts of finished and pending requests... Artwork will be posted in a new post.  Don't be shy, let me draw your idea!  :)

Seriously.  The Weather Channel showed the hook echo on the radar.  It's heading STRAIGHT TOWARD Greensburg, as we speak.

I'm sorry, but that town's f%^&#d.

This is my very first video, with tornado warning coverage for my area, and probably one of very few for Kansas City, on YouTube, so this is a proud achievement, for me.

This is the first part of (I don't know how many, yet) several more clips to follow. The weather break in starts just a minute before the first tornado warning for the immediate metro area is issued.

I added a 'dramatic introduction' to get you pumped up.  :P Also included are shots of what the sky looked like just minutes before all Hell started breaking loose, around the area.

While I do have most clips of what happened in the early evening, I do not have footage of the bow echo system that came through after midnight, which produced several embedded tornadoes and destroyed many houses, up north. This is just my first time, so if anything else were to happen here, and being that I'm in the Midwest, it will, I'll try to get better coverage... This was all taken during the Thursday night programming line up, while we were out eating, so unfortunately, any coverage during Scrubs or 30 Rock was missed.

But enough of my long winded rambling, just watch the damn clip!  :P

Part two's coming, soon!
