An inside source at TWC told me that Good Morning America Weather Anchor Sam Champion is leaving GMA and heading over to The Weather Channel! I have always liked Sam Champion he presents his weather forecast very good! I'm glad to see he is coming to TWC!!!! Stay tuned for more info...

Everything Else TWC / Local Weather Always On

I remember reading about TWC leaving the local weather on all the time even during commercials. I have been watching TWC for the past hour and my local weather is always at the bottom of the screen now. Is anyone else seeing this as well? Maybe it's an Intellistar problem at my head end. But let me know if anyone else is seeing their local weather at the bottom of the screen now during commercials. And by the way it's on my SD channel not my HD channel

A bittersweet but exciting announcement: Monday will be my last day at TWC. Will be extremely sad to leave my TWC family, but I will be taking up the post as Chief Meteorologist at WBZ-TV in BOSTON. Wicked excited to be be back around all our family!! These past 3 years were something I'll never forget. I'll say one thing...TWC is the most unique/amazing place for any Meteorologist to work, and I'm extremely grateful for my time there. Here's to the rollercoster of life!

I was wondering if anybody knew where I can find the theme music TWC uses for Weather Center Live, Day Planner, Morning Rush, also the music they use when they are in " Red Mode " for Severe Weather, and other music they may use. Thanks for any info provided!

I wanna say thanks to TWC for staying with KFOR Coverage of the Tornadoes today. Being that I have family in Oklahoma I am able to watch their coverage. And my family is OK there. They were in their basements. They did loose their house today. Can't really keep a good cell signal right now with them.

WeatherSTAR Tech Support / High Springs, Florida WeatherStar XL down.

I don't have a STAR ID because I do not know it. But the XL in High Springs, Florida is down and has been for 5 hours. The only thing working on the XL is the Radar. There is no Current Conditions, Forecast, or 7 day forecast. Just thought you should know. Thanks!

Local Forecast / Gainesville, Florida STAR ID

Can someone please tell me what the STAR ID is for Gainesville, FL? My cable company DOES NOT show it at the top of the hour. Thanks!!! By the way the Cable Company is Altitude Communications based out of Valdosta, GA. But the local head end is in High Springs, FL

Programming and Graphics / Where is Weather Center Live tonight?

Ok I'm kind of confused about programming tonight. Where is Weather Center Live tonight? It was supposed to be on at 7pm Eastern Time. I always watch Weather Center Live at 7pm and I'm very disappopinted that it's not on right now. Please fill me in. I have not seen any weather since 2pm after Day Planner went off air today.
