Her profile still says "Weather Channel Meteorologist"

Although her activity on twitter is not that great.

Everything Else TWC / Re: We Love Weather

I honestly thought the forum or "community" was already up and running when I signed up, but then I found out that the community is still under construction and it's going to be based on fan feedback.

Nonetheless, I can't wait to see what's in store.

TWC Today News / Re: Martin's passing and the future of TWC Today
« on: November 05, 2015, 11:58:43 PM »
I am very grateful to see that the administration and moderation team are working together to preserve the forums in honor of Martin. I think Martin would be very proud.

What's also amazing is that we all came back to these forums after YEARS of inactivity to pay tribute. I mean seriously, I haven't seen the majority of you in forever, and that included Martin. I only briefly kept in touch with him on Facebook. It makes me happy to see everyone of you again to pay respects to our wonderful friend.

Of course, I'm pretty emotional every time I come here, as it reminds me of the good time we all had with Martin. He kept this place alive and you can tell he had such enthusiasm with meteorology. We were all cheering him on for pursuing a meteorological career. He had potential and guts. He will never ever be forgotten in our community. <3

I had to come here as soon as I got the news. I couldn't take it in. He's such a wonderful friend to all of us. He's gone way too soon. :(

SoCal does have four seasons: Mudslides, LA Laker Riots, Winter, and Summer.

I survived my first brutal Texas summer here in Houston. I'm so ready for fall. I want my sweater weather so badly.

This was the very first forum I joined on the internet. I just turned 18 when I joined, and now I'm almost 25. I try to keep in touch with the friends I made on here (Springy, Billy, etc), but being an adult with a high social life doesn't help as much haha.

I am still a Stephanie Abrams fan to this day, no matter what. She is just still badass. I do watch TWC occasionally but even the new timezone I'm living in (yay central time), I still haven't had the chance to check out the morning TV shows...the ones that air at 2 am in California. lol

From what I can tell @ Steph's instagram, I honestly think she's gonna get the chop. It's just...wow, I'm not sure how this move is going to affect her, seeing that primarily she moved to NYC SOLELY for WUWA.

I don't mind seeing her back with Mike again, but she's better off doing something else imo.

Happy Father's Day and Happy First Day of Summer! Today is the longest day of the year when it comes to sunlight. Enjoy it because after today the longer days will gradually become shorter and shorter....

Well most of the action happened southwest of me, but we did get some awesome rain (but the humidity was freaking unbearable). However, I learned how to properly "prepare" for a hurricane, so at least I took something out of that storm! :D

Local Forecast / Re: NEW Ryan Farish Album!
« on: June 15, 2015, 04:34:04 PM »
I recently got back into listening to his music, and I'm so excited he's gonna release a new album. The last album I bought was Opus, and I've yet to buy the music after that album. Can't wait!

While I agree that TWC may not have the most decent coverage out there right now, you gotta face the fact that there are still people that actually disagree. Right now I'm following Invest91L coverage that's gonna hit here in Houston, because all my local media outlets haven't started coverage just yet. I'm surprised that they are throwing all the information they can out there to the people that actually need it. Still, you may want to confirm with your local media, but TWC tries their best to inform citizens affected by weather disasters. I feel they are improving slowly.

The Weather Network is weather 24/7 :)

I definitely miss Mike Bettes though.

I just saw him live at Houston just now.

Questions, Comments, Suggestions / Re: Moved to Canada. Banned?
« on: June 15, 2015, 04:26:30 PM »
Sorry to hear that! Maybe there was a mistake on one of the admins' part when they thought you (or someone using the account) was spamming. But that's really weird. Try messaging one of the admins and hopefully you can get it resolved. It is possible that the IP you were using may have belonged to a former member.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: TWC & WN on DISH?
« on: June 15, 2015, 04:24:08 PM »
I think this is a good thing, if TWC's on longform mode and I wanted my weather when my local channels don't have their newscasts on, i turn to them. It's a great alternative.
