I actually really like it. Looks a lot better than what it used to in my opinion, and it's nice to see the government modernizing their websites. They can't stay in the 1990s or 2000s forever lol :whistling:

They actually updated it not long before this, and the design matched in general with weather.gov and other NOAA sites.

I just keep laughing about how terrible it is. The basic design doesn't even match what they use on air at all and it seems to lack any real direction.

you are clueless as hell. I was a TWC fan before u was born... much longer than most of the membership here has been alive... i know things about the real world you DON't know. Get a clue cc19726. not wasting my time going back and forth with millenials

He knows what he is talking about, and is very smart. You need to get off your high horse.

Weatherscan Discussion / Re: Weatherscan Topic
« on: February 01, 2016, 06:20:48 AM »
In a monumentally stupid decision, TWC seems to have disabled straight passthrough of NWS warnings to the unit. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued just west of here and the ticker just says "a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for a portion of the viewing area. Remember if a severe thunderstorm threatens; take shelter indoors. Stay away from windows." The alert tone has been updated to match the IS2 while Cantore narrates the text. Why was this in any way necessary?

This is part of the new FCC regulation requiring emergency messages to be read out loud.

I'm still having a hard time letting this sink in. Martin certainly was an amazing person... and he has certainly accomplished a lot within the short time he was on this Earth. Unfortunately because of my behavior at the time I lost contact with him. I have been meaning to make amends with him over the past several weeks, but I never got around to actually talking to him. I want everyone to know...especially Martin, that I am deeply sorry for how I acted. I wish you Godspeed, and rest in peace.

Well if this is the true reason why she no longer appears on TWC, I will be severely disappoint.
