$4.39 here.  Average price at ALL TIME high.

BTW, the national average was already at an 8-year-high BEFORE Russia invaded Ukraine.
Really? That's terrible! But the invasion has made it worse. It's between 4 and 5 bucks here in Alabama.

General Emulator Discussion / Re: How do you create an emulator?

I would recommend looking at the source code for my weather site as a starting point: https://github.com/vbguyny/ws4kp

You'll need to know HTML and a great deal of JavaScript and Qjuery and a little bit of C#.
I don't have that kind of skill. I sure wish I did. It sounds complex and difficult.  :(

How is a 3000 or 4000 emulator created? I would like to learn how. I've seen http://www.taiganet.com/ 4000 emulators, but still don't know how.

Well in another couple of week it will have been a year since this COVID-19 crap started. I hope that with the vaccines and heard immunity, it will finally be closer to coming to a close, and the post-covid era can begin with no more wearing masks and no more social distancing.

I heard, O Holy Night/Little Drummer Boy played on a local pop station this past weekend.  Never thought I would hear that song on the radio.
Well I'm sure you were pleasantly surprised.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Charter, now our ex-cable provider
« on: January 10, 2021, 10:49:24 PM »
Why do they rip people off?

They are a company, they exist to make profits, as much as some of us (me included) may not like it, they screw us over to make a buck.
It's frustrating isn't it?

TWC and your Cable Company / Charter, now our ex-cable provider
« on: January 09, 2021, 02:51:57 PM »
Charter has been going up the last several years. My dad finally decided to drop them, for AT&T. We switched a week ago, and just received a bill from them, wanting us to pay for the period January 5 through February or something like that, when they aren't even our provider anymore. Why do they rip people off?

That is so sad.  RIP Alex Trebeck.

Well, we're now to Zeta, which is the last named storm of the 2005 season. In 2005, it was a named storm just before the first of the year (2006).

Hurricane Central / Re: Hurricane Laura
« on: August 31, 2020, 02:01:04 PM »
Yeah... Laura has already really messed up SWLA/SETX. I went back to my home last night, which was inside of the eye, and was horrified with what I saw inside and around. We got off extremely lucky with just needing a new roof, pool liner, floor and other things, but it was the first time this house has been like this. We never flood and incredibly didn't this time. I feel horrible for the many people and places I know and have been to before that are now seriously damaged or crumbled.
Wow! I'm it was not worse for your house than it was. I am fascinated with the power of weather, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc., but I hate the destruction, obliteration, injuries and deaths.
