Hi. Has anyone else noticed that TWC has been playing jazz or smooth jazz during the local forecasts?
It just played during an LF while "Katrina 20" was on.

They brought it back!?! Awesome. I always wondered if they would.

I figured they stopped b/c it cost too much & as I've said before, they're low in funds.

It returning for a Wednesdays-Fridays look would be nice. "Wayback Wed., Throwback Th., Flashback Fridays"

Its an iconic TWC look. Thanks to those of you who still update this site every now & then. 

I don't think it Returned........

I "never" thought we'd see it again, at all. So I was surprised. It recieved positive feedback in '23. There's always a chance it returns again 1 day then. xD

Definitely not surprised. First rumor I heard was that it was meant to stop airing at the end of July.

Why wouldn't they want to expand on it & do it maybe earlier in the night 3-5am? Is this abt seperating themselves from old school TWC? NBC did enough of that.

One thing that's annoying with current Twc, is how fast they run thru all their content, you can barely even see what they're talking about. I know its quicker to see stuff online weather.com but what's the use to tune into the channel that you can't see the forecasts before they're onto the next thing? Taking 1:30 to talk temps or foggy conditions or explaining something out wouldn't hurt too much.

Thanks very much for the updates. I miss Alexandra and Jennifer Lopez and Sharon Resultan. They were fabulous and really liked talking weather.

I think financially, twc is barely hanging on by a thread. Someone said something to Jeff Morrow and he implied on Twitter the staff there is very light unlike years ago when they had close to 250-300 meteorologists.

Working with Dave Schwartz (RIP) early on helped her out plus she has a great sense of humor, now. When she first started she was kinda dry. With Bettes, she's flourished. Love to see it. I just wish WU aired at night vs the middle of the day. Part of me misses Weather Center. Lol

No issue with this show as I believe it's their second or third talk show overall. They really need to return to live programming from 5-8pm on the weekends. Ever since Kim Cunningham left, they discontinued doing that.

I thought it was Verizon that caused them to return to live programming? It was DirectTV in 2014 & Verizon in... what 2010? Someone give me a history lesson.

Personally, I have no issue with the show. I think it would suit it better if it were on between 8-10 at night or 9-11 am weekdays. TWC won't get it through their heads until ratings drop more. Complaints on Twitter and FB likely won't do any good unfortunately. I wish they'd do something special for longtime fans (jazz on the 40th anniversary) but that's doubtful too.
