I've gotta say this change would make sense if TWC was adding live weather, but they have actually taken away meteorologists such as Mark Elliott. Sarah Dillingham also hasn't been on Weather Underground since the change began. We can only hope for the addition of more live weather!

Mark Eliott left TWC? When?

He's still there, but it appears that he no longer has a show; I haven't seen him with Alex Wallace but I could be wrong. He's hosting Weather Underground right now.

I just saw this today and was shocked! I'd like to know if she chose to leave or was let go. If she was let go it surprises me they'd fire someone on one of their flagship programs. TWC needs to be HIRING mets, not FIRING them if they are really going to expand their hours of live weather! I do agree with those above; Kelly Cass needs to be hired back full time and she's practically been on the show every week anyway.

Sounds like some changes are happening soon. According to his Twitter, Mark Elliot is getting his 12pm to 3pm timeslot back with Alex Wallace as his cohost starting Monday. And Stephanine Abrams posted a picture today with Jen Carfagno hinting at changes in the mornings with a new show starting Monday. In fact, my DirecTV guide shows "AMHQ Early" from 5am to 7am...

I imagine things will be more clear tomorrow...

Sure enough, the WUWA Twitter says that Stephanie is moving to AMHQ from 6am to 9am. Wonder if AMHQ's hours will be changed with that. Still a lot of unanswered questions!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kait Parker, but I don't see them pulling Alex away from Dave in the afternoon.  I think TWC realizes that pairing Alex and Dave has been a big hit and won't disrupt their chemistry. Then again, anything is possible!

FTVLive.com reports AMHQ without Sam Champion will be fronted by Jim Cantore and Stephanie Abrams, with a 3rd anchor TBD - apparently NOT Jen Delgado.

The report goes on to say that Nick Walker may be brought back full-time and Anaridis Rodriguez's contract was re-upped.

I'm surprised to not see Jen Carfagno or Chris Warren as host; it seems like they're on the show as much as Sam, Jen, or Jim already. I'm glad to see Nick Walker being brought back, but I think they could use Kelly Cass back too. She does an awesome job in breaking weather and has been filling in on AMHQ weekend a ton lately-- maybe she'll be the 3rd co-host!

There is word floating around on Twitter, especially from producer Dina Knightly of a new morning show. There is already a Twitter page for "The Lift", "America's first mobile morning show". Possible WUWA replacement?

There are some talks of a "new show this summer". Mike Bettes and Sarah Dillingham have both mentioned a new live show coming this summer in their Periscopes. I would assume this is the same show we heard about that was supposed to be hosted by Bettes in March. Sarah seemed like she couldn't say much about it, just that there is a new show coming this summer. I wonder why the launch was pushed back until summer!

Over the past few weeks, TWC has still been using Kelly and Nick on Weather Center Live. Interesting how they have taken a "contributor" role but continue to act a fill in OCM's. They are still listed as OCM's on weather.com.
Glad that TWC has still used them on camera.

Watching TWC, It's WCL. Wasn't AMHQ starting today? Was that canceled this weekend because of the Winter Storms?

AMHQ Is a weekday only show IIRC.

It was briefly mentioned in many of those articles about Cantore coming to AMHQ that a weekend edition would be added on January 31. It was to be hosted by Reynolds and Kait.
I did notice these photos on Twitter a couple of days ago. It appears that they were rehearsing.
