According to this article, Kevin Robinson will be leaving TWC to be the chief meteorologist at WLWT in Cincinatti starting in January.

Knew this was coming ever since he moved from mornings. Kevin just has a smaller role during WC. All he does is present iWitness Weather pics and fills in for either Cantore or Steele.
But anyways, he was an okay OCM and I wish him all the best. :itsok:

Yeah, I believe it is done by choice as well. Yet, imo, he made a better choice (not saying I don't like him or anything).

I'm gonna miss Kevin, I didn't like him at first but now I think he's a cool laid back guy and he has a sense of humor, I wish him good luck on his new Chief Met job, if it was me I would leave too right about now they basically took him from being a main host on a popular morning show to a 3rd wheel on WC (not saying anything was wrong with him being on WC)

I'm gonna miss Kevin. I enjoyed him very much and he had always smiled and joked on air. But chief met is better, he doesn't deserve to be in the tarnished image of TWC anyways

It took me awhile to get used to Kevin too, but he eventually warmed up into me. He was really funny when he started working with Jim and Alexandra. Here's a perfect example of that...

I've always liked Kevin. I've always liked the way he presents himself. Like Ana said, I think that he is better off at a local television station, rather than a small role on Weather Center at TWC. Good luck to Kevin!

WLWT is known for having a revolving door of personalities. Kevin will be the eighth chief meteorologist at the station in the last 15 years. The previous chief left after working a split shift (morning show + 5:00 & 5:30 news) for around six months. According to the press release, Kevin will only be working the evening shows.

I'm going to miss Kevin a lot. He was funny, and had a crazy sounding laugh. :yes:

WLWT has their own channel for weather updates on my cable. I see him all the time (well, during the week). Otherwise, I watch it for Valerie Abati - she is a HOTTIE!.
