Anyways, Julie Martin has finished up her meteorology degree! congrats to her! :happy:

I would assume so, she did a report on the stage collapse at the Indy State Fair. It would be nice to see her as an OCM. If that happens I wonder what show she'll be on... :thinking:

I remember (I think about...a year ago or so?) she did weather.com segments. With that experience, no doubt she'll end up being an OCM at TWC. Heck she might be the next Stephanie probably.

To be honest, I'm quite excited. I'm quite surprised it's been 4 years already.

Good for her. I have always enjoyed watching Julie and I wish her all the vest whether she continues her career at TWC or goes elsewhere.

Julie is on today 3pm-7pm ET with Nick Walker.
Her title is Meteorologist and she did some forecast segments at the maps.

Since this is the only Julie Martin thread that I see,I figured I would just post this here. I'm probably a little late on this (I haven't been able to watch TWC much since I started school),and there's nothing that I've seen on here about it,but Julie confirmed on her facebook today that she is pregnant. She's due on St.Patrick's Day. Congrats to her! :yes:

Yeah,I noticed the bump when she was standing at the wall doing the "top tweets of the day" segment. At first I thought maybe it was just her dress,but I could tell it wasn't. A few people asked her on her facebook if she was,and she said yes.

If she is due on St. Patrick's Day, then that means she is ..... five months along. She had to tweet about it since she was showing and couldn't hide it anymore. She looks further along in that pic to me, though.

Julie is on with Nick at 3pm ET.
The first time since back from leave she on as an OCM doing forecasts.

Julie has announced that she's heading to WXIA-TV in Atlanta, where she'll be a weekend meteorologist. She'll be at TWC through September, and "you will still find me here at TWC filling in," she says.

Man, I don't know what it is about that station, but they sure do love to scoop up the female TWC mets. First Cheryl, then Sam, and now Julie. I'm surprised they didn't try to hunt down Heather Tesch for a job there after she left TWC. :lol: When I saw a new post for this thread, I automatically assumed Julie must be leaving because I haven't seen her in months.
The irony here is it seems like since she became a certified meteorologist a couple of years ago she's been gradually getting less airtime. :rolleyes:
Also, Julie Martin is taking Tracey Humphrey's weekend shift, Tracy was moved to the morning shift to work on a new morning show on that station called "Atlanta Alive" which started a few weeks ago this month.

Although it hasn't been specified yet, I'm going to assume she may be starting as soon as this Saturday (September 6th). Hopefully she'll be able to stick around much longer than Cheryl and Sam did at that station. :yes:
Her last day at TWC is set for September 30th.

I noticed Julie Martin returned Atlanta and is working for The Weather Channel and CNN.
