Title: Eric Fisher Leaving TWC

A bittersweet but exciting announcement: Monday will be my last day at TWC. Will be extremely sad to leave my TWC family, but I will be taking up the post as Chief Meteorologist at WBZ-TV in BOSTON. Wicked excited to be be back around all our family!! These past 3 years were something I'll never forget. I'll say one thing...TWC is the most unique/amazing place for any Meteorologist to work, and I'm extremely grateful for my time there. Here's to the rollercoster of life! :thumbdown:

Post by: toxictwister00 on June 26, 2013, 06:29:40 PM: How unfortunate, out of all the newbies the past 5 years, Eric was definitely one of my favorites. He seemed to have great chemistry and charisma with everyone he worked with especially his main co-OCM Jen Carfagno. I enjoyed watching him out in the field during hurricane season as well. (although he was a bit over-dramatic during Hurricane Irene, he got better in Issac and Sandy though so I pardoned him for Irene. :P)

Ah well, best of luck to him on his new Chief Met gig. He should get acquainted pretty well in Boston.

Sidenote: I guess that's why they're bringing in that new guy this Summer. (I don't remember his name, but he was discussed here)

Fisher’s appointment was announced today by John Verrilli, News Director, and his first day at WBZ-TV will be Monday, August 19, 2013 at 5pm ET

Jennifer Lopez was on 5pm-7pm with Paul and Crystal returned to WCL at 7pm.
Kayla is subbing on WCL later in the week.
