I see bob's name has been removed from the bio list at weather.com. I guess that means he's gone? Anyone know the circumstances?

I saw him on First Outlook last week

I dunno. I hope he wasn't fired. Whatever happened I hope that, at the very least it was his own choice.

LOL, if you recall TWC has quite a track record when it comes to firing people for no good reason.

That doesn't make any difference anyway because no one would update that until its known for sure that Bob is gone.

typically it would take them a year to take off an OCM who left TWC, or was fired. (of course I'm exaggerating)

I don't know how you have that judgement, when I left Atlanta to come up here for family I was promised a job when I came back.. <_<

This is yet another crying shame. Bob was freaking awesome, especially when he worked with Dave, Mark, or Ray. I'm really going to miss him. :(

That picture with Bob and Lisa Mozer is actually from 1997. I didn't realize he's been around that long! Courtesy goes to Shaun for the video that came from.

If Bob is indeed gone from TWC, and he left on good terms, maybe he'll be in the same boat as Warren Madden and appear as a freelance OCM.

I really hope so, but Warren only did what he did because he has time to do so with his current line of employment. Bob, in all likelihood, would seek another full-time job, but here's hoping he comes back to our living rooms/kitchens/bedrooms someday soon. :P
BTW, why can't any former TWC OCMs ever seem to come to Chicago these days?

Bob is definitely gone. Eboni Deon is doing First Outlook this morning. Monday was always Bob's spot, never Eboni's. They have no one else to fill his spot, apparently.

Its a shame taht bob is gone. IMO, he and Dave were the best pairing. The two of them togetehr were always a hoot.

Probably because he didn't really get "fired" or leave on "his own terms" :whistling:
I also remember Paul Emmick saying good bye when he left earlier this decade.

I've noticed that OCMs that leave by free will, their names are erased off of weather.com ASAP, a perfect example? Sarah Libby, and a few others who left freely.
