That comment coming from none other than Dave Schwartz.
After they showed a segment about windshield wipers (from the 100 Biggest Weather Moments) at 1:45 PM ET today on Weekend Now, Dave commented "Don't put Viagra on your windshield wipers. I guess that is the bottom line. You gotta keep them soft and supple." Kim Perez's only remark to Dave's comment was "Ohh, Dave?!"

Dave wins at Life.
I seriously could see a Dave/Kim weekend pairing happening. Their chem this weekend was next to amazing.
-
Dave and Kim make a great pairing, IMO.
-
Kim has made a better foil for Dave than other partners of late. (Carl, Kristin, Kelly, et al)
Does anyone think Dave is a little off still? He seems to be making more mistakes in things he says. I still love him and his off-the-wall humor, though.

I've noticed that, too. He still seems to stumble over words and at times doesn't quite know what to say. I just hope he is still okay and everything will be fine for him.

omg for a second i thought a spammer posted spam here.

Maybe Bob Stokes is getting to him. Just sayin' :whistling:

Yesterday towards the end of the first hour, Dave pretended to spill a cup of ice tea all over Kim and fumbled with the cup (which was empty of course). "Oh, I guess that was the empty one" he said. Kim then said "And I gotta work two more hours with him".
In the last hour, he also asked for a refill of water: "Roscoe! Refill!" Kim then said: "When I get home, I'm gonna have more than just water." Great seeing those two reunited since the late 1990s.

I have both those moments on tape. I'll upload them later.

Thanks. I haven't watched my recording yet, but I think it was interrupted by the severe weather blocking my satellite dish.

Doesn't that make you just love satellite?

Hey, at least I get all the HD channels first, and the outage doesn't require a human being to fix hours later...

No, but loosing your signal when there's weather gets downright annoying after awhile. I had satellite for several years and that was the principle reason I got rid of it. Every little cloud, raindrop, snowflake and thunderstorm knocked the signal out. I've had cable for five years now since I got rid of satellite and never once have i had to have a guy come out to fix anything, nor have I ever lost reception for any length of time.
-
The new receivers actually handle bad weather better now, so it takes a hefty storm to knock the signal out, and that's what passed through yesterday. I haven't had problems with snow in years.

The receivers have nothing to do with anything. The problem occurs when the signal can't get from the satellite in space to your satellite dish. The receiver has no part in the process.

I love the change in the subject from Dave Schwartz to Satelitte Dishes.

They actually do; I used to have both new boxes and old boxes hooked up at the same time, and when bad weather came in, the newer boxes would hold up better than the old ones. They apparently handle poorer signals better.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who does that. I still haven't posted the First Outlook openers yet.
