New users, need some details from you
« on: May 03, 2012, 04:39:44 PM »
Hey guys,
I am a little perplexed and need some clarification. I noticed since I opened the doors to the self-account creator, I have not heard any feedback from anyone. When I check server access logs, I note that a lot of people have worked their way around the configuration panel, but have not gone as far as actually running the emulator. This is what I need to know to help you out:
1. Do I need to create guides instructing how to use this emulator?
2. Does the emulator require too much instruction to use that I am loosing your attention?
3. Are you having installation troubles and giving up?

Please fill me in. If I have to create an instructional video documenting how to make the emulator work, I am glad to do this. I feel that something is lacking, and without proper documentation, the newbies to the emulator are giving up and moving on.

Thanks

I signed up for the emulator earlier this week. I had troubles with the program at first, but then I eventually figured it out for myself. The emulator works fine for me

Brian, as I said, I signed up as 'Zach' for an alternate location.. however if you do not mind, I'm gonna put my emulator usage on hold for now since I have a lot coming up in school and I want to wait for getting a new hard drive into a spare desktop so I could stream it.

Well, I called myself following directions and setting up my account. I'm guessing that I have to wait for my account to be confirmed because I get the "ID des not exist" error when I run the program.

I take that back. It's working fine.

Hopefully, I can get my wireless adaptor for my desktop next week and install this there. It's a Vista machine, so I have to really pay attention to directions.
