What is the worst song(s) TWC had ever aired? Mine are Wipe out by the Safaris and Lil' Jack Slade by The Dixie Chicks. Both songs were just HUGE joke for putting it on TWC. If I hear them again, then I will *mute the volume or change the channel.*
-
I chose both Lil Jack Slade and Wipeout. I literally laughed when those songs played on the LOT8s.
-
any vocal song that has aired on T.W.C., particularly on WUWA
-
What Chuck said and The entire September playlist...
-
Hmm, tough one... the use of Michael Jackson music during his funeral procession last summer is definitely up there though...

That was defiantly one of the best songs to me, my worst was Danger Man by The HelleCasters
-
Just That by Jay Soto and Brighter Days by Brian Hughes...
Brighter Days was aired constantly between July and October 2007, and then it just seemed to alternate with Just That in September/October as the only two songs played.

I do think it was awkward and unusual for TWC to play "Billie Jean" on the LOT8s, but at least that day was his "funeral" day.
-
I hated both those songs, Felix, lol. I would have to say it was awkward to hear Billie Jean play on the LF, especially since I never have cared for any of MJ's music, but I do think hearing vocal music on the LF is a refreshing change of pace (like I always say :P ).
My worst songs would have to be:
"Find Your Way Home" by Criag Chaquico (Mar/Apr, and again in Apr/May)
"Blue Horizons" by Chris Geith (February)
"Rattle and Burn" by Jesse Cook (June)
"Ingots" by Kaki King (that song was irritating beyond all belief lol)
"Escapade" by Armik
"The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" by Thievery Corporation (I do like their song "Liberation Front")
"Stone Groove" by BJ and JS (hate those artists now)
"Frankenstein" Edgar Winter
"Signe" by Eric Clapton
"Do You Wanna Dance" by The Beach Boys
"The Lineman" by Sam Spence (about as repetitive as it gets)
This year was sort of mixed for me, and I had songs all over the spectrum. Some I really loved (*coughs* Terminal Frost), and some (listed above), I absolutely could not stand, and would either mute the TV or change the channel when I heard them.

That would be "Find Your Way Back". ;)

I agree with Signe and DYWD, but I like the rest of those.

What Chuck said and The entire September playlist...
Definitely agree with September, probably the worst of all the months this year. I liked all of daytime and most of the morning playlist, but primetime and overnight were awful (except for Frankenstein, For Love, and No Exit Strategy).
-
I actually liked a few Sept songs. My favs were Moments in Love, This Place Hotel, Psyche, Take Five, Mihalis, For Love, Frankenstein and Expressway 94
-
I hated Frankenstein, but by far the worst song this year is "The Lineman" by Sam Spence :hammer:

What was TWC thinking by playing "The Lineman"? I don't know what TWC's main genre is at all anymore.

I agree absolutely 100% about them playing "The Lineman". I don't even know what genre TWC revolves around anymore.. Some jazz mixed with whatever?

They seemed to have stuck with playing smooth jazz during the daytime and rock/pop tracks during other parts of the day.
-
The worst songs that TWC ever played are:
The two songs on the poll
Gut Feeling by Devo (Rockish, joke, annoying :censored: song. Wish this song didn't existed and never played on TWC on the first place. *mutes the volume when hearing this crap*)
Wizard of Winter by TSO
Stone Groove ( :censored: this song for playing it again this month. *ignores song*)
Attack Engine by David B. (didn't care much for it)
TWC Smooth Jazz 1 CD Version of Simple Pleasures by Jeanne Ricks
Any classic rock songs
-
White Castle Blues - The Smithereens
Danger Man- The Hellecasters
Lil Jake Slade - Dixie Chicks (how can you play country n' western on TWC?! :o
The Safaris - Wipeout
Boney James - Stone Groove (this is way overplayed)
Return To Win - David Robidoux

Here are the top worse songs:
Danni's Song by Marcus Johnson
Rainbow by The Rippingtons
Stone Groove by Boney James (I'm VERY VERY VERY SICK of this song)
Butter by Boney James
-
Green Onions is the worst song for me. :hammer:
-
Green Onions was kind of cool back when I heard it in May 2005, but it has been used basically on every other playlist over the last year.
:hammer: So now it is like a bad song.
But there have been worse:
Maserati - Monoliths
The Safaris - Wipeout
Dixie Chicks - Lil Jack Slade
The Smithereens - White Castle Blues
-

My God, that song was beyond repulsive.
All the aforementioned songs are bad indeed. A couple others would be Viva Las Vegas, When She Dreams by Lynn Patrick, Jurassic Park Theme, Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Danger Man by Hellecasters,Rhapsody in White (boring and repetitive) and the Harry Potter theme

I actually liked Monoliths, but Green Onions and White Castle Blues are getting annoying, and I'm glad I never heard that Dixie Chicks song. When did it play?

Ozric Tentacles... i sampled their CD. howd the :censored: that make the LF that :censored: is horrible
-
Green Onions. I liked the song when it first started airing on TWC, but it's becoming really boring.
