And Holiday '93, '04, '05, '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, and '11

I knew the much beloved holiday playlist was used a lot of years, but I guess I never realized it was that many!  :thrilled:

On top of the one I heard earlier, a little later on I heard "I Saw Three Ships," also by David Arkenstone, on Live 365 Christmas Breeze.  I honestly didn't expect this one there given that Christmas Breeze predominately plays orchestral instrumental Christmas songs rather than smooth jazz or new age ones.

The local supermarket is in Christmas mode now, so yesterday I heard...

"Jingle Bells" by Steve Glotzer (Holiday playlist) over the store's PA system.  Highly unusual (but highly pleasing ) selection, and I don't think I would have so readily recognized it had I not been a TWC fan back in the day.

Rockit by Herbie Hancock and Outa Space by Billy Preston played on WMNF 88.5 FM during the Saturday Night House Party. Additionally, Moments in Love by Art of Noise also played in the background at one point during the show.

Earlier this afternoon, I heard "Eminence Front" by The Who, followed by "Layla" by Derek & The Dominoes, on 102.3 KCRX-FM. Part of the ending of 'Eminence' was interrupted by a quick EAS test, but I didn't mind the interruption at all. :P

This is not a song, but I was watching the Billboard Music Awards and during the credits, I saw Edgar Struble as the music director.

This week, I heard "Pebble Beach" by Vince Guaraldi (Jan. '00 playlist) on KAAM 770 AM as a part of the "Seems Like Old Times" weekly program which was playing summer songs, which "Pebble Beach" is apparently considered.  I got that TWC vibe from the song and sure enough, it had played on TWC.

Last night while listing to the Sonic Tap Smooth Jazz channel on DirecTV, I heard "Afterglow" by Craig Chaquico (June 2002 playlist). One of my all time favorite TWC tunes. :)
