Post by: Mike M on March 02, 2009, 10:07:58 AM
Out of curiosity, what are the travel cities on your IntelliStar's LDL/blue bar? Mine are Atlantic City, Newark NJ, and Wilmington.

Cleveland, State College, and Elkins WV (a stupid pick IMO. why would anyone go there?)

Toms River, NJ; Cape May, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Wilmington, DE..

You can only have 3 travel cities.

Wilmington, DE
Atlantic City, NJ
Allentown, PA
Burlington's IntelliStar (21865) has those same cities, except without the states on them.

Also, Levittown's IntelliStar (21884) has:

New York, NY
Baltimore, MD
Atlantic City, NJ

Originally the cities were Atlantic City, Allentown, and Wilmington. They changed to the current ones about a year ago.

Agreed. If they wanted a W.Va city they could've chosen a better known one like say Charleston, or a bigger one like Martinsburg.

Personally, I'd go with Cleveland, State College, and either Wheeling WVa (many travel for gaming), Morgantown (I-79 goes right through it), or Erie.

On all the Comcast STARs throughout the Pittsburgh DMA, the cities are Cleveland, Youngstown, State College.

Tyler, I can tell you from my experiences while growing up in eastern WV that Elkins is an old railroad town on top of the mountains that features some interesting weather, but that's about it. :P

Here are my three travel cities on Albany's Intellistar (24776):
Binghamton, NY
Boston, MA
New York City, NY

Wheeling seems logical, and so does Morgantown. But Erie seems about as poiintless as Elkins.

Erie's a big travel spot (for weekend getaways). Lake Erie, there's plenty of colleges up there, Lake Calhoun, camping, Splash Lagoon, etc.

Peoria's IntelliSTAR (22878) has: Its kind of strange how it has Minneapolis on ours. The Twin Cities is far away. They should of put St. Louis.

Harrisburg's IntelliStar has Allentown, Baltimore, and Wilmington. Allentown and Baltimore are good choices but I'd include Philadelphia instead of Wilmington.

No I didn't. I was only able to get a quick glimpse at it and couldn't record anything. It was pretty neatly configured though. I'll post what I remember on the General LF topic so I don't get off-topic here...

They recently swapped out Elkins for Morgantown, which is a better pick.
