I already looked at the playlist. By process of elimination it has to be either the John Maellaro or Don Grusin song, neither of which is on iTunes.

It's not John Maellaro. Maybe Don Grusin is the one.

Not many people are willing to get CDs for merely one song. I only buy CDs if there are 5 or more songs in the album I like in it. Of course there are exceptions but IMO it's not a bad idea. Then I would download singles on Amazon mp3, iTunes,  Lala or Rhapsody

This is a 1 minute clip of "Lovestar" by Buzz Amato from this site, but the first few seconds is a completely different song. Anyone know the name of it, it kinda sounds like Boney James, but I don't think it's him.

I'd say that sounds a lot like Dave Koz...

Anyways, I need an ID to this number, please :)

I love that song! It totally makes me emotional though cuz it reminds me of all that happened to me that year :/

Is that the song I posted a video of or the clip that Tavores posted?

That also played in December 08's "best of" list. That song too makes me emotional. A couple other songs from 2008 made me cry including Winter by Ryan Farish, Roxanne's Dance by Gerald Veasley, no Ordinary love by Danny Lerman, Stone Groove and So Many NIghts by Chris Geith. The only song that cheered me up was Smoothy McGroovy by Joe loskota

Yeah, 2008 sure did feature a lot of emotional songs. Definitely a lot of good ones though, that's for sure. Winter is a beautiful song, and I'm glad I at least have a camera XL recording of it.

Thanks for the ID btw
The song definitely fits the ad crawl in that LF

I don't find Roxanne's Dance (which I just uploaded a clip of) that depressing. Same with Winter, which I have a camera clip uploaded while I was in Spring Lake as well as a few clips on tape. While several songs from 2008 were emotinal, it takes a lot for a song to make me cry.

I don't totally burst into tears hearing it.. It just brings back sad memories. That's the way songs are for me. Most, if not every song I listen to, is connected to a memory. And it just so happens that one is connected to a not so happy memory.

Unidentified TWC song 1997 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_vgQTTEuxQ&playnext=0&playnext_from=QL#)

The user says this played in Q4 1996 playlist, but it isn't listed on TWCC.

I had an audio track I could have given, but I recorded it on my phone and when our SIM cards were decommissioned, so were the phones and the memory...
It aired sometime in November/December of 2008/2009 (likely in 2008). It was kind of a dark and depressing song with a very slow pace, with a possible triangle or xylophone continuously dinging. Right at about the point of the 7-day forecast it would slow down to just the triangle/xylophone and then jump to a bit of a faster pace. Any ideas? It has worried me the name of it since then!

Sandbox (Yvonne Ayers) from November 2005 is available for download here http://www.isound.com/leon_ayers_jr  (http://www.isound.com/leon_ayers_jr)

it is the first song on the list (Side by Side)

Chain of Pearls ( retitled as Passion Ave) and a bunch of other Leon/Yvonne ayers tunes (maybe other TWC songs) are on this site: www.gettyimages.com/music (http://www.gettyimages.com/music)

I think i am only missing 4 or 5 yvonne ayers tunes from all their songs on TWC

Wonder how I missed this post..yes, I believe we are missing 7. (Lake Effect, On my own, other side of blue, my world, all there is, all grown up, no other one)

What is the name of this Ficara song? It is my favorite Ficara song, and I remember hearing it a lot in 98.

This was used in 96, not 98.. and I have no clue about the title. It mightve been one of Ficara's in-studio productions and never released, like "Stanley by Me" from 1998 and her Christmas Jazz and 1999 TWC music albums available only on cassette, thats if you are lucky enough to try and reach her. Ive given up asking her after trying for years

Hi, there!  I'm looking for the name of a song I heard back in 2009/2010.
Here it is. (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22473535/VA029_032KBPS_091107_103615.MP3)  It's rather loud, too, sorry about that.

Thanks in advance.

**I also shall note this is not Shadow of the Moon by Steve Oliver**

I FOUND IT!!!

Here I found an updated site where you can get to Thomas Cain's album "art of Healing". For those of you who know, he had 3 songs air on TWC "Goin Uptown in 2000 and Let's Waltz in 2001 and Your Voice in 2008. I contacted him on facebook and he replied to me you can go this link http://candycanemusic.com/ (http://candycanemusic.com/) and you can buy his album via Paypal. He told me he had a few copies left, so I would get on it quickly. With this CD purchase, I finally can say I have every song that TWC aired in the year 2000 (all 141 tracks).

Definitely not. The same couple of songs seem to be playing over and over and over. I'm tired of hearing depressing songs, getting a ticket and disappearing, and a song about diamonds. I was a fan of vocal music... but it's starting to wear on me and I'm gonna need to turn the channel, or they're going to need to play My Name is Lincoln only. It was very doomsday-esque and appropriate for the storm situation happening.

Need help ID'ing a song. Found it backed up from my old laptop. I think it played sometime between April-May 2010 or 2011 in the morning, maybe on Wake up with Al?

That is "Jung at Heart" by Master Cylinder. It was heard in the morning hours of July and August in 2011. It also did air between January and March 2010.

The actual name of this song is "I Love This Song" by Gary Brown. This is on the same album as the song, "My Heaven" a.k.a "Pleasant Days" by Bobby Love/Robert Mclaughlin which was discovered back in 2014.

Track #11

Something is not right here. I just looked through the playlists that Alex posted, and found the December 03 playlist, but it looks very incomplete.

Artist          Title
Phish          My Friend My Friend

Brian Hughes       The Bridge
         Brighter Day

Steve Glotzer       All Tucked Out
          Mr. Phelps, I Presume

Gerald Veasley       Coup De Ville

Ramsey Lewis Trio    The In Crowd

Lenny Marcus Trio    Sun Ray

The Rippingtons    Mr. 3

David Becker Tribune    The Bus Song

Ryan Farish       Run to You

Eddie Reasoner       Pacific Coast Highway

Spyro Gyra       Birk's Law
good selection of songs :worship:

Hello! I've been looking for the title and artist of this song since last summer, but I've had no luck. I was wondering if anyone here knew what it would be? Thank you in advance!

As far as I know, no one has been able to identify the artist of that one. I assumed it was Stephen Arnold Music, but recently learned that isn't the case.
