Title: Possible lead on Ronald Thornton Valentine
Post by: ndinminot on May 24, 2008, 01:28:35 PM
After endlessly searching, once again, on the Internet I found a CD that contains the two songs that may have been written by Ron Thornton Valentine. The two songs "Let Me Hold You" and "Moving In Your Direction" appear on a CD titled "soulmate" by artist Ron Paris. I dont know if its a pseudonym or if RTV wrote the melodies for both songs but the drawback is that both song have stupid a$$ annoying vocals in them  :furious: :censored:

The link can be found here http://www.amazon.com/soul-mate-ron-paris/dp/B000CABDCC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1211649726&sr=1-1 (http://www.amazon.com/soul-mate-ron-paris/dp/B000CABDCC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1211649726&sr=1-1)

Ignore the tacky sounding vocals. the melodies might sound familiar

This could be a case where TWC must've devocalized the songs themselves.

Here's a clip of "Moving in your direction" from Derek,

Yeah, the vocal version sounds like a much slower version of the one that aired on TWC. Nice find Carlos!!

If you look on the cover, it says "Ron Paris" featuring "Ron Valentine". So Ron Valentine is the pianist who plays the melody.
