I just heard Pacific Wind by Ryan Farish! And I'm not lying so cut it out with all the "yeah yeah" parts. ^_^
-
Just heard another new tune at 1:08 pm EST.
-
At 12:38, I heard The Allman Brothers "Jessica" that was played in 2000.
At 12:48, I heard Funktelligence "Still In The Deuce" that played in 2000 as well.
-
OMFG! They are playing Funktelligence Still In The deuce! This is one hell of a good playlist!
-
Indeed. So far, I have not heard any new songs - Only songs that were played in previous years..
-
At least there are GOOD songs from previous years.
-
I agree. Now if they just played Jeanne Ricks "Listening Room" it would be complete.
-
Sounds like an older Pat Metheney Song playing at :58
-
Uh oh. I better delete thatvideo on YouTube with the Pat Metheny song.
-
Songs I heard:
Pat Metheny song
Brian Hughes song
Why I Sing the Blues-BB King
Jessica-Allman Brothers Band
Pacific Wind-Ryan Farish
Still In the Deuce-Funktelligence
Another older Ryan Farish tune would be appreciated. <_<
-
Another older Ryan Farish tune would be appreciated. <_<
And what song would that be?
-
I don't know. There's usually 2 or more RF tunes played.
-
I would like to hear Daydreamer sometime soon. That was a good song.
Right now i'm hearing a Mark Krurnowski song.
-
I'm hearing a familiar Mark Krurnowski song. Come on play another Ryan Farish song besides Pacific Wind!
-
I just heard Papa Was A Rolling Stone by The Temptations at :48.
-
I just heard Papa Was A Rolling Stone by The Temptations at :48.
Wow, they are playing really good songs from really good playlists!
-
Currently hearing "Brighter Day" by Brian Hughes, which happened to be on last month's playlist.
-
So many good songs and it is only daytime. I can't wait for the primetime list! And the overnight list! I guess Gary was wrong about music in October.
-
I'm hearing a song that sounds like Pat Metheny at :18 past. Anyone know what name it is?
-
I heard "It's for You" from his "As Falls Wichita so Falls Wichita Falls" album
-

-
The Primetime list is the same as last month's
-
I'm enjoying this so far. Throw in "Listening Room" and "Last Train Home," and it would be great. Then again, "Last Train Home" seems like more of a winter song... (I don't what during which month(s) it was played)
-
It looks like the primetime playlist is the same. <_<

i heart Listening Room
-
Throw in any from my list of favorites and I'm happy.
-
Derek's list of favorites is great! Basically any song from his list that showcases in this playlist, will make my day.
-
If I'm not mistaken, Listening Room was last played on the October 2005 primetime playlist. Would be cool if it played for Sept-Oct.
-
If I'm not mistaken, Listening Room was last played on the October 2005 primetime playlist. Would be cool if it played for Sept-Oct.
That is correct. I remember it distinctly from 2003. Hey, whatever happened to that Phish song? They played it a lot in 2004, when Phish broke up. Maybe they can't play it cause of legal issues, now that they are broken up. It used to be a yearly song!
-
I think I heard The Rolling Stones - Can't You Hear Me Knocking, played in March 2003.
So far, The Allman Brothers "Jessica" starts from the very begining of the song.
Eric Clapton "Let It Rain" uses the same cut as it did in 2002.
-
They're playing Rolling Stones music?
-
I wouldn't like this playlist if it wasn't for "Still in the Deuce".
-
But primetime list, my favorite part, is the same! If it wasn't, then I'd like this playlist! <_<
-
They're playing Rolling Stones music?
Yes. the same song used in March 2003, "Can't you hear me knocking?"
-
Is that from the "Sticky Fingers" album?
-
Is that from the "Sticky Fingers" album?
Yes.
-
But primetime list, my favorite part, is the same! If it wasn't, then I'd like this playlist! <_<
The overnight is the same as well. :-\
-
The overnight is the same as well. :-\
That's a bummer. :censored: Maybe they'll change the primetime and overnight lists tonight? Only time will tell.
-
They're playing Rolling Stones music?
Yeah, they've been playing it for years.
-
I'm actually hearing a nice song right now. Not sure what it is though.
-
A couple of songs in the daytime list are interesting, especially that Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton song. Way too much rock for this playlist, IMO.
-
I heard "Just Like That" by Jay Soto earlier
-
I just heard "Let It Rain" by Eric Clapton.
-
This new music guy is bringing back a lot of the good old tunes from earlier in the decade. I love this playlist. When I get back to my TV tuner I'll record some IntelliStar clips. :)
-
Maybe the new music guy should put tunes from the 80s and 90s as well! :dancing:
-
I don't really like much of the music from the pre-2000 days, (except a select few, and of course the Trammell Starks music).
-
That would be great, though it probably won't happen.
I know you guys wouldn't want that to happen.
-
I know you guys wouldn't want that to happen.
Want what to happen?
-
I knew i heard Jay Soto earlier. I love this playlist! Gives us a little blast from the past!
-
That's true. I like music in the past better.
-
I know you guys wouldn't want that to happen.
Want what to happen?
You wouldn't want them to play music from the 80's and 90's.
-

You wouldn't want them to play music from the 80's and 90's.
Gotcha.
-
I'm not "gaga" over this playlist unless I hear some good primetime tunes.
-
I'm hearing "Wherever You Are" by Brian Highes on the primetime list. It's a great song, but with a terrible time in.
-
I really wished they used my favorite song called "Full Sail" by Ryan Farish. That song always reminds me of flying to different places in the world. Oh well, maybe in the November playlist? :-\
-
I haven't heard this one in a while...
"Layla"-Derek and the Dominos (Eric Clapton)
-
I heard Eric Clapton's "Layla" on Primetime!!!!!!!! (from July 2001 and 2005)
-
Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond!!!! from July 2001 and August 2003!!!
-
I'm rather enjoying this playlist so far. Quite a bit of classic rock has been thrown into the mix, which is always fine with me. I can't wait to see what the Christmas playlist brings.
-
This is the best playlist i've heard in a very longtime. if they would play the Phish song and Listening Room, then its complete.
-
Layla again at :58 B)
-
Throw in Simple Pleasure and it's complete. :)
-

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond!!!! from July 2001 and August 2003!!!

-
Unknown1: The Thrill Is Gone-BB King
Unknown3: Please Please Let Me Get What I Want-Dream Academy/Ferris Bueller's Day Off (great movie! :D)
Unknown6: Shine On You Crazy Diamond-Pink Floyd
That's the first time I heard Pink Floyd in almost a year. :o
-
This is the best playlist since 2003!
-
"Still In The Deuce" by Funktelligence was played again on my location at 6:08 EDT. It wasn't played since March of this year. That song wasn't played for 5 months.

It was played in February, IIRC.

February and March.
-
There are some new songs too such as the Ferris Buellers Day off song and a couple of Mark Krurnowski sounding songs.
-
How come Papa Was A Rolling Stone has an instrumental cut of only 1:50-1:53 minutes and yet TWC is able to play the instrumental part for 2 minutes from the beginning of the song?
-

They probably edited the song. its not the first time they did something like that.

Thats not the same thing. What i mean is, they took another part of the song, and pasted it so it would be longer, and it fits in.
-
I caught this cool song the other day. Can anyone identify it? Unknown Song (http://myrandomtwcstuff.googlepages.com/Primetime19.mp3)

I'd also like to know what song this is. When I first heard it a few days ago, I swear I heard the song before, like something that was played in the late 1990s. :ermm:
-
LFmusicfan - Sounds like Patrick Yandall to me
-
That does sound like a song from the 90's. I just can't put my finger on exactly which song it sounds like....
-
Actually that song is "K.C." by Patrick from his "From the ashes" ( I have the CD)
-
We know that its NOT a song form the 90's, we just think that it sounds like one. 8)
-
That's a really cool song! I'm getting the playlist later this week.
-
Where from?
-

From TWC of course.

That's odd. I thought the primetime playlist was all new songs. None of them used on daytime but when I get the playlist, I'll posted here and see wheter I'm right or wrong.

Don't forget about Cocoon or Tempest Wind!
-
I love Cocoon!
-
Cocoon is a great song, I especially enjoy the first part of the song, where it sounds kind of western-style, and the ending, at around 1:30 of the song with the trumpet!!! 8)
-
Cocoon is such a happy song. In fact listening to my clip of it helps get rid of the homework blues. For you're enjoyment, here is the clip: Cocoon (http://www.manpowermusic.com/lo-fi/MPM1.112.mp3)
At the risk of getting suspended for going OT, let's bring this conversation to the Front Porch. ;)
