Title: Multiple page Weather Bulletins
Post by: Gil on June 09, 2008, 01:32:20 AM
Has anyone had this happen, where the Weather Bulletin segment on the IS takes up 2 pages? I've just seen it. Just curious: when this occurs, how does it affect the lineup? Does another segment get taken out, or do all screens have a shorter duration?

Yes, I had that happen for me last night and today as there were three weather bulletin statements for my area. In yesterday's case, it was a Heat Advisory that was set to expire within an hour or so of when it was shown and a severe thunderstorm watch followed by today's heat advisory.

I like that it is shown that way. No overlapping text like the WeatherSTAR 4000 used to do. Just nicely organized in how it's displayed. I give two thumbs up for that.

I've seen it happen quite a few times here. A second WB screen causes another segment to be eliminated.

That rarely happens here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
