Title: I found Michael Ripoll's tune
Post by: ndinminot on May 28, 2008, 11:09:27 AM
It is retitled "Cat Dog" on his site www.michaelripoll.com . It is instrumental, but it ends with Puerto Rican/Cuban/Spanish style cheering/chanting and vocals, which kills it and makes it sound VERY tacky IMO.  If you listen to the sample You will hear the  :censored: vocal part. what I did was buy the single from the site and edit the song at about 4:00, when the vocals start. The Time-In of "Miss Libby/CatDog" is at :15 and I tested it and it checked out. Also compared it against a youtube video that Derek gave me. So by process of elimination, Michael didnt write the "alien song". I think that song, which I suspect is Kim Hansen's "Always There"

Below is a clip of the LF portion of "Miss Libby" used in May/June 2007 overnight

I remembered someone here contacted him on MySpace. Kim was a keyboardist for a band. Title escapes
