It better be...

So far I heard
A Boney James tune used previously
It better not be "Stone Groove". I can't tell you how many times this song was used on TWC
-
Hmm. This playlist isn't starting well.
-
I've been mostly hearing the Storm Alert songs from 05 and 06. I will wait until tomorrow to hear more songs in the playlist.
-
I'm hearing some new songs currently including a new Jeanne Ricks tune, "Acoustic Highway" by Craig Chaquico and a Scott Ward sounding song.
-
Just heard "H2O" by Eddie Reasoner.
-
Samuel Lincoln song at :28.
-
Currently hearing a Chris Geith-like song right now.
-
This looks like a pretty decent playlist so far.
-
I believe "Altostratus" by Eddie Reasoner aired at :18. I'm recording clips as we speak.
-
I just heard a song that sounds a lot like Passage by CC Gilmore. Its the last track on the "Millenium" CD (Taking A Chance) Play this song alongside Passage back to back, and you'll know what I mean

Ooh, that's a great song! B)

"Run to You" by Ryan Farish at :18. :thrilled:

So does anyone have the September playlist yet?
-
Unfortunately, no. I did request the playlist once and emailed Hoitsma twice about it.
ON another note. I just Heard .. Under a Big Blue Sky by Kenny Kilgore used previously on 6/05

This playlist is simply FANTASTIC! Best one in YEARS...
H20 and RPM have the original time-ins I believe. They were both from the same month. They sound really good.
It's nice to hear The Rippingtons again. I always thought their drums on the newer stuff sounded really dry though. :hmm:
I remember getting pissed off back in 2003 and 2004 because they played Run To You so much, but it sounds really good now. Good beat with that one.
TWC really needs to stop milking the Summer Fragrance cow. It isn't a very good song, IMO.
-
Yes indeed I love this playlist too. Although they haven't seemed to play too many new songs this month.
-

Not always a bad thing...
-
Yeah playing old songs from 2002-2003 is different than playing old songs from a previous month.
I'm liking this playlist, but what's with the overplaying of Summer Fragrance? It's a good song, but there's no need to play it 3+ months straight.
-
I received the playlist today. I don't see Eddie Reasoner's "Altostratus" .

Holy cow! Thomas Cain...and Palomino Duck!!!!

I'm surprised to see Thomas Cain! You sent him a message not too long ago!
I also recorded a few primetime tunes but i'm too lazy to transfer them to my tuner. I'll do it later tomorrow.

Yeah and I didn't get a reply. :club: :P
-
That's a shame :( I hope he didn't ignore your message.
-
I don't know, but I hope not too. You'd think small timers like him would like hearing from fans.
-
Just heard that Nestor Torres song that played back in April 2004. Takes me back, I remember this song. B)
The time-in for the song this month is a bit earlier than in 2004. The 04 cut started around when the flute starts. I like either cut, though.
-
Anyone notice "Lucky Charm" by The Rippingtons is listed twice?
One of the songs is missing.
-
Nice playlist :)
I'll try to record the overnight playlist! I'll really be busy with school. Sorry :(
-
Oh, Goodie! Kent Marcum's Playtime is on again this month.

Sorry for the double post, but I really love that song. Where can I get the specific version of this song?
-
They got "So What" by Miles Davis this month! But...why on the overnight section? LOL!!
-
I'm also enjoying other carry-overs from the past playlists such as "Lucky Charm" by The Rippingtons and "Groove Lounge" by Marcus H. Mitchell.
-
I'm loving this month's playlist! Really gives me a blast from the past. It seems that all the September playlists are great. Oddly enough, I've loved every September playlist since 2003.

SounDoctrine has their own myspace http://www.myspace.com/niayana
-
I can't view his myspace. I got a reply from one of the band members, he said the remix version will be on CD baby on Sept 12.
-
I feel like I've heard every single song, on this playlist, before. :noexpression:

No it isn't. For some reason, the songs at :18 and :48 are from the primetime. It happened with Hanna as well.

I love that song! I need to hear "First time i see a star" by Kent Marcum. Heard it's a very popular song of his.
-
I've gotta hear that Molly Pauken song. She's a BMI artist, so more than likely her music is available under a different title.

You cannot email her on CD baby? I ran across a CD Baby page where Molly was one of the artists.

Oh, that explains it. Well, with Ike gone and out of the way, everything's back to normal. I still thought it was cool that "Groove Lounge" was played in the Daytime like before in July 2007.
-
Seems that H20 is among the songs that don't play often. I've been trying to get a clip of the song, but I haven't heard it at all this month.
Why is it always the good songs that don't get played often? :hmm:

I cry a little every time I hear that song because it sounds like one of those going away songs.

This playlist isn't bad :)
