Don't worry Gil. TWC should be airing your music in the June or July 08 Playlists ;)

They don't have the right to it. You want it, come here for it. No materials have been posted in the classic board, so I don't know what your talking about.

Once I get the videos up on youtube, I will post a bulletin regarding the playlist and include a link here. Like "The May 2008 Playlist can be viewed at this site. Got questions or want to chat about current TWC? Join TWC Today!"

Is this good or bad?

Who cares if the playlist is posted at TWCC as well? It's not that big of a deal...
Title: Re: Here is the May 2008 Play List
Post by: lfmusiclover on April 30, 2008, 07:17:43 PM
I have no problem with that at all. Your free to do that if you wish.

For some clarity, if a non TWCT TWCC member wants to post a playlist over there (but NOT from this site) that's fine. But I think my members should show a little respect to the site and leave here the things that are here.
Title: Re: Here is the May 2008 Play List
Post by: Localonthe8s on April 30, 2008, 07:20:02 PM
Exactly. It's ok that he posts a playlist there but he simply copied the playlist I posted. Just look at the grammar e.g. "greenwood, gerald veasley-n/a"...

It's the same in TWCC so I can see he took it straight from me.
Title: Re: Here is the May 2008 Play List
Post by: lfmusiclover on April 30, 2008, 07:21:43 PM
Like I said, if a non-TWCT TWCC member wants to post a playlist over there, fine. I don't have ownership over them. But DO NOT copy and paste from my site or forums. That is plagarism, and not acceptable.
Title: Re: Here is the May 2008 Play List
Post by: Gil on April 30, 2008, 07:23:15 PM
I'm still confused as to why the majority of the members over there, are still the ones who only know, or are only interested in, the present day TWC, when that site doesn't even focus on it anymore. What's the deal? That's the classic TWC site, this is the current one. So why are most of the "current" people over there still? That kind of pisses me off from a logical standpoint.
Title: Re: Here is the May 2008 Play List
Post by: Localonthe8s on April 30, 2008, 07:24:32 PM
I was thinking about that too. I see a lot of members there that only post in the current TWC forums yet they never join here.
Title: Re: Here is the May 2008 Play List
Post by: lfmusiclover on April 30, 2008, 07:24:45 PM
That's the point I'm trying to make, but it falls on deaf ears. If my members wish to participate in classic stuff, that's a different story. But for my members to basically be bouncing back and forth between here and there for the same thing is really ridiculous. You came here because you wanted to talk about current TWC Today. So do so. Here.

I think the Norman Fisk song during the overnight playlist can ONLY play on K flavors. From what I could hear in Alex's clip, the time in for the song is about :59, which would mean the time out is 2:59. The song begins to fade out around 2:50, so that would mean it would fade out on the LF as well.

If the song is 2:59, and it begins to fade out at 2:50, why would they choose a time that far into the song? They should've chosen one closer to the beginning.

Yeah, I don't understand that either. It would explain why I have barely heard it this month. I almost never watch the K flavors.

Not necessarilly.

The song "Thrill is Gone" by BB King played in 9/07 and the time-in for the song is at 3:12. The song ends at 5:12 but the song fades at around 4:59. The song did not fade during the LF during the end so my Guess is that TWC has special settings in the music computer to control this.

Nope I will tonight though. I will record it either as a K or L flavor. And the song has the island feeling to it. it has the "'distinctive tropical sound" to it. "Island of a Thousand Dreams"  sounds more like a overnight tune to me.

I know it's rare that I ask this, but does anyone know the name of the attached song from the primetime playlist? It doesn't seem to be on the playlist.

EDIT: Oh nevermind. The clip you sent me Vic wasn't "Island Of a Thousand Dreams", the clip I attached is. That's what screwed me up. :wall:
Do you have a clip of Spring thing by Mark Minchello?

Couple more notes:

CC Gimore removed his recent songs from itunes. I'm assuming they will be replaced by better ones. Once again. Norman Fisk has all of his music in the "Just Music" album removed. But the "Due Point' album is still there.

I'm gonna possibly stay late up on Saturday or Friday to record "Cumulous Numboss" by Norman Fisk. I want to record some overnight clips but my parents won't let me stay up that late to watch TWC.

Krishnan has a clip of that song but unfortunately he is having tuner problems
