They're playing EDDIE REASONER?!

That's awesome! Carlos, thank you for posting the playlist. I am very sorry if I made you upset by giving all the playlists.

This is the first playlist in two years that they played Eddie Reasoner.

They're playing wonderful Kathy Ball music again.

Lots of unavalilable music. This is clearly the best playlist I;ve heard in months
Title: Re: Here is the March 08' Local Forecast Playlist
Post by: tpirfan28 on March 03, 2008, 12:19:50 PM
And Kenny G.

And Artie Traum.

And Eddie Reasoner.

And Simple Pleasure.

Damn.  Too bad the rest of the songs leave little to be desired.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTSZDNXMy9I

Still no Eddie Reasoner... <_<  Let us know if you hear his music. I'm gonna try and record Trade Winds tonight.

And I also need the name of this catchy piano song. I really like it :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQnXk0CrBhM

Sometimes I wish I can throw out my tuner. The Simple Pleasure clip has a lot more skipping than my other clips

I think the bigger question (or at least my bigger question) is why did she make another version of the song in the first place?

Of all the daytime songs, i went to itunes and listened and the only song left to be ID'd is this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQnXk0CrBhM) one. It's has to be "Smoothy McGroovy" by Joe Laskota. I love it how unavailable songs sound so good
Title: Re: Here is the March 08' Local Forecast Playlist
Post by: Localonthe8s on March 04, 2008, 01:47:25 PM
I'm suspecting  this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZEBNoxt2p4) is "In Touch" by Doug Markley. I dont know the itunes title though.

Also here's a better recording of "Smoorthy McGroovy" by Joe Loskota. At first i thought it was by Ramsey Lewis :P

The time in used for Trade Winds this month is about :16, which is 3-4 seconds earlier than the time in used when the song was played from 2001-2003. I like the older cut better.

I did a process of elimination method and the only song left was the Ramsey Lewis-esque song. Which has to be "Smooth McGroovy" since no other songs are left.

Because Eddie told me the song had a banjo in it. I listened to all the overnight songs on TWC these past few nights, and the one I posted above is the only one with a banjo.

Vic, didn't you say you made music and TWC said your music will play in April?

How could you possibly know whether music will be played in future months?
Sometimes artists would email fans and post in MySpace that their music would be playing on TWC

No it's not going to play in April. Actually, I don't know how to send my music to TWC

I'm hoping it would play in TWC one day but I'm in the process of setting up a BMI account currently.

Sometimes people would guess. I have no clue what songs will play but I'm guessing in the next playlist, Ryan Farish, Brian Hughes might be played.

The April part was an exaggeration i put in the Say Something Random thread.

There were actually two video I needed from him too. It was that LF video he had that featured Cocoon by Sammy Lincoln from April 04, which had my 2nd favorite satellite graphics package. He also had Park Place by Lincoln from July 04. I can't believe I forgot to get these with the Youtube Downloader tool.
