HOLY ****!?!?!?
They're playing EDDIE REASONER?!
That's awesome! Carlos, thank you for posting the playlist. I am very sorry if I made you upset by giving all the playlists.
-
And not just Eddie Reasoner...BRAND NEW Eddie Reasoner!
-
This is the first playlist in two years that they played Eddie Reasoner.
They're playing wonderful Kathy Ball music again.
Lots of unavalilable music. This is clearly the best playlist I;ve heard in months
-
And Kenny G.
And Artie Traum.
And Eddie Reasoner.
And Simple Pleasure.
Damn. Too bad the rest of the songs leave little to be desired.
-
I wanna get my hands on that new Eddie Reasoner song. I had no idea he was making new music!
-
Me too! I have never knew he made a new song, "Mountain to Unaka". Too bad it plays overnight <_<
-
Ohh, Eddie Reasoner music! I can't wait to hear it play again!! :thrilled: :worship:
-
What happened to "Friday Child" by Bradley Joseph? It's still playing.
-
I'm so :censored: off right now. I've been recording for 3 hours and they haven't played Dew Point, Simple Pleasure, or the Ramsey Lewis song I'm looking for
-
Holy shit, eddie reasoner! That must be my birthday present this year fr4om TWC!! And a new one!! He told me several years ago that he was working on new stuff!! I'm going to talk to him about that new one.
-
yea please tell us about the new music he composed!
-
Yeah I wanna get that song if possible. :thrilled:
-
I'm so :censored: off right now. I've been recording for 3 hours and they haven't played Dew Point, Simple Pleasure, or the Ramsey Lewis song I'm looking for
I've heard "Simple Pleasures" twice today, but I haven't any Eddie Reasoner music.
-
I got Simple Pleasure recorded B)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTSZDNXMy9I
Still no Eddie Reasoner... <_< Let us know if you hear his music. I'm gonna try and record Trade Winds tonight.
And I also need the name of this catchy piano song. I really like it :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQnXk0CrBhM
Sometimes I wish I can throw out my tuner. The Simple Pleasure clip has a lot more skipping than my other clips
-
Simple Pleasure sucks
-
The CD version of Simple Pleasure just doesn't catch my attention like the old one did.
-
Why did Jeanne not release the classic version?
-
Why did Jeanne not release the classic version?
I think the bigger question (or at least my bigger question) is why did she make another version of the song in the first place?
-
Why did Jeanne not release the classic version?
I think the bigger question (or at least my bigger question) is why did she make another version of the song in the first place?
Yeah that sounds better :D
I'm so :censored: off that she had to release this crappy version. I hope she's aware that is not the "song" we wanted
-
Eddie Reasoner eh! No Ryan Farish! I can't believe it
-
Praise the lord! No Ryan Farish OR Brian Hughes! This month really is the ultimate birthday present from TWC!!
-
I can't believe it, no Ryan Farish. Oh well, its a welcome change after hearing it year after yeay
-
Currently hearing "Nashville Skyline" by kathy Ball
-
Of all the daytime songs, i went to itunes and listened and the only song left to be ID'd is this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQnXk0CrBhM) one. It's has to be "Smoothy McGroovy" by Joe Laskota. I love it how unavailable songs sound so good
-
I'm suspecting this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZEBNoxt2p4) is "In Touch" by Doug Markley. I dont know the itunes title though.
Also here's a better recording of "Smoorthy McGroovy" by Joe Loskota. At first i thought it was by Ramsey Lewis :P
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMABwr8YQdM
-
So has anyone heard any Eddie Reasoner on this playlist yet?
-
Nope not yet. I really want to hear that new song. <_<
-
Simple Pleasure sucks
I thought you liked Simple Pleasure? Or are you refering to the one on the TWC CD?
-
Hearing "Dewpoint" by Eddie Reasoner right now! (4:08 PM ET) :thrilled: :thrilled:
-
OMG!! RECORD IT!
-
I'm gonna pray that "Trade WInds" by eddie reasoner and the "Nashville Skyline" by kathy ball song will play tonight. I am in love with those two songs.
-
I'm suspecting this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZEBNoxt2p4) is "In Touch" by Doug Markley. I dont know the itunes title though.
"Forgiven" from his "Lift" CD ironically the next track on the CD is titled "Touch"
-
Thank you! I'm gonna buy it in itunes right now!
-
I heard dewpoint for the first time today and boy it's beautiful! :thrilled:
-
I heard dewpoint for the first time today and boy it's beautiful! :thrilled:
Make that the second time :thrilled:
-
Lets hope we hear Trade Winds later this evening, and that new song overnight tonight.
-
I heard it. They used a very nice cut, too. I think its the same one used in 2003 and before.
-
I heard it. They used a very nice cut, too. I think its the same one used in 2003 and before.
I'll record it tonight. I think i found a way to stop the audio skipping too :D
-
And right now, too. Grabbed 1/2 a local with it. :thrilled:
-
Currently hearing Dewpoint by Eddie Reasoner. From what I hear, it has the same cut as my 3000 Emulator. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-_C2X_UvcQ)
-
I just got "Dewpoint" recorded, but I was a few seconds late in hitting the record button. <_<
http://youtube.com/watch?v=6VXKKQfaP_Q

Just activated DVR timeshifting....so I can grab the WHOLE local later...if it even comes on.

-
Now if we could just catch Mountains of Unaka.
I'd love to capture the song but I dont have a DVR and I cant waste my time all night recording music
If I only this were the pacific time zone... <_<
-
I got the overnight list recorded ;)
-
The time in used for Trade Winds this month is about :16, which is 3-4 seconds earlier than the time in used when the song was played from 2001-2003. I like the older cut better.
-
I heard Dew Point by Eddie Reasoner 3 times in a row!
-

I agree. The time in for the current song is awful.
Alex, thank you for recording the playlist. Please post it and we'll have to knitpick which one us "mountains of unaka" ! :thrilled:
-
I'm hearing "Trade Winds" again! :thrilled:
-
I'm hearing "Trade Winds" again! :thrilled:

-
I only heard about 10 seconds of it. Someone cue me in on what happened.
Uh, Trade Winds by Eddie Reasoner played on your normal, everyday local forecast, at 7:58 PM CT? ;)
-
Im confused.

Im confused.
Arent u always confused?
-
Im confused.
Arent u always confused?
No. :(
-
I Recorded 3 Overnight videos (because thats all my camera memory can allow for now) and they will be up around 5pm et * I hope one of them is "mountains of unaka"
-
Eddie Reasoner doesn't play sax, so you can omit all the overnight songs with the saxophone. Eddie is quite heavy on the piano
-
Praise the lord he does not use saxophone in his music...
-
Nope
Its "So Many Nights" by Chris Geith
-
Nope
Its "So Many Nights" by Chris Geith
well i'll try again tonight
-
did you record any other clips last night?
-

-
That's "Mystery Night" by Butch Baldassari
-
Does anyone know this song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RSrpm4V-zg) or this song? (http://myrandomtwcstuff.googlepages.com/Unknown.mp3) They are the most common songs playing this month.
-
The second one is Smoothy McGroovy by Joe Loskota
-
The second one is Smoothy McGroovy by Joe Loskota
I thought Joe played the sax.
-
Nope
Its "So Many Nights" by Chris Geith
well i'll try again tonight
i recorded the whole list again from last night because eddie did not play the night before
-
The second one is Smoothy McGroovy by Joe Loskota
I thought Joe played the sax.
I thought he only played the jazz guitar
I did a process of elimination method and the only song left was the Ramsey Lewis-esque song. Which has to be "Smooth McGroovy" since no other songs are left.
-
Nope
Its "So Many Nights" by Chris Geith

i recorded the whole list again from last night because eddie did not play the night before
Eddie played on Wednesday night. I even captured it. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAabLvvgdMw)
-
Yup, that's Mountain of Unaka by Eddie Reasoner
Did you tell Eddie that's the song?
-
Oh i did not know eddie played on wedensday
-
How is it possible at all to know, unless Eddie has told anyone? Actually KNOW what the songs are before you start identifying them...
-
How is it possible at all to know, unless Eddie has told anyone? Actually KNOW what the songs are before you start identifying them...
Because Eddie told me the song had a banjo in it. I listened to all the overnight songs on TWC these past few nights, and the one I posted above is the only one with a banjo.
-
Makes sense to me
Here's Crimson Sunset by Norman Fisk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Jf896bQpBA
-
Does anyone know what "On the Upside" by Steve Oliver sounds like? I cannot find it in tunes!!
it's playing in the daytime list
-
I'm surprised your having trouble finding that song. Steve Oliver is a mainstream artist, not one of those indie artists.
-

I am. I couldn't find any info on the album "One Night Live" either. It's possibly retitled but nothing really matches
-
Wow, that seems really unusual.
-
It could mean he's releasing a new album soon. I think One Night Live is a future album!
I like Steve Oliver's music. especially Shadow of the Moon and Feeling Good
-
Boney james' Personal touch is the best song on the overnight list :blushing:
-

It's ThunderFever B)

Wow, after weeks someone has the playlist.
Thanks.
Norm Fisk :thrilled:
What an honor it is to have you in our forums Norman! :)
-
I actually refered him to this forum B) He PMd me on Youtube where to find the playlist since his music was playing this month and I attached the link here :)
-
Does anyone know if Eddie Reasoner will be in next month's playlist? If so, what songs?
-
here is Boney james-Personal Touch

I hope it plays on daytime and primetime becauseI cannot record overnight
-
How could you possibly know whether music will be played in future months?
-
Vic, didn't you say you made music and TWC said your music will play in April?
-
How could you possibly know whether music will be played in future months?
Sometimes artists would email fans and post in MySpace that their music would be playing on TWC
-
Vic, didn't you say you made music and TWC said your music will play in April?
No it's not going to play in April. Actually, I don't know how to send my music to TWC
I'm hoping it would play in TWC one day but I'm in the process of setting up a BMI account currently.
-
How could you possibly know whether music will be played in future months?
Eddie told me himself.
-

Did he tell if any of his earlier songs will play? Rain Dance, H20 etc.?

So you lied to us? :footinmouth:
Regarding an earlier question someone asked...as Gil said, how could anyone know what will play next month?
Vic, thanks for the referral (of Norm). You have no idea how appreciated it is. I wish more people would refer others to this site. :sunglasses:
-
Sometimes people would guess. I have no clue what songs will play but I'm guessing in the next playlist, Ryan Farish, Brian Hughes might be played.
The April part was an exaggeration i put in the Say Something Random thread.
-
Heh, i haven't worked on my music in a long time. I should get on that. I hope to send it to TWC by June at the very latest.
Does the music programmer tell these people that their music will play? I highly doubt it.
-

I also doubt it. Alot of times they seem as though they're completley unaware that their music is/was playing.
-
They usually do notify the artist. Norman told me TWC was going to play two of his new songs next month
-
did anybody listen to boney james-personal touch and if so how much do you like it i give it :twothumbs:
-

Yea good luck Gil. TWC is picky on what music to play. Ficara composed new music for TWC but they didn't like her style
-
Yea good luck Gil. TWC is picky on what music to play. Ficara composed new music for TWC but they didn't like her style
No she did not. She said she would if TWC was interested, but they didn't seem to be.

No she did not. She said she would if TWC was interested, but they didn't seem to be.
Oh, Well that explains current twc's crappy choice of music.
I hope Eddie's newer songs have more piano and guitar in it like his older songs. I cannot stand the banjo
-

Well, I've heard stuff that a helluva lot worse than my own (not to brag), so I wouldn't say it's possible. :D
-
Which is the worse song u ever heard, Gil?
-
I don't know, I've heard some pretty awful ones. a few in July 2007, that i have no idea what the names are.
-
I think the worse songs are the Chris Geith ones this month. I can't stand them
-

What's the worse song in the playlist for u Derek?
-
What's the worse song in the playlist for u Derek?
There aren't really any songs in this playlist that I dislike.
-
I hope Ryan Farish's newer music will be in the future playlist.
-
I like the Chris Greth songs in this playlist too. This month lacks sad songs, which is good because I don't like that type of music.
-
I don't like sad songs either. I only like songs with a sad background beat
-
My favorite songs in the playlist are:
Smoothy McGroovy-Joe Loskota
In touch-Doug Markley
Dewpoint, Mountains of Unaka and Trade Winds by Eddie Reasoner
Riders of the Ancient Winds by Craig Chaquico
Nashhville Shyline by Kathy Ball
-

"Forgiven" by Doug Markley. :)
-
thank you victor. :twothumbs:
-
u welcome! B)
-
I hate it how some songs play more often than others. Since 10AM ET this morning, only three songs have played on the LF. I'm trying to capture Dewpoint before the playlist ends (along with Trade Winds during the evening). :glare:
-
Dewpoint for some reason plays heavily between 3-4pm and 6pm. I dont know why. Every day i heard Dew Point during those hours. You'll get luck with Trade Winds tonight. I hope you capture them soon though!
-
Mike, i hope you heeded my above post. Because Dewpoint played at 6:38PM EST ;)
-
Can someone identify the name of this cool song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_E1fR4iTf2w)? I think it might be joe laskota since someone said he plays sax
-
i'm gonna record Mountains of Unaka by Eddie Reasoner. I have to buy more video tapes. I need to find a way to connect the damn tuner to the VCR though and i dont think it works like that. Oh well I can still try my audio cable :D

Unfortunately, yes. The banjo is played beautifully
-
Well yes, I heard it when I was seeing one of the forecasts at South Lake Tahoe on the IS
-
This playlist, IMO, is the best playlist since the programmers were switched last year.

My Caddy by Marcus Johnson. It's my favorite song this month, in terms of first-time airing.

I hate the Chris Geith song this month.

I hate the Chris Geith song this month.
Yea so do I. I only like "Restless Heart" from last month

Yep I like that song too. Too bad Felipe posted spam below <_<
-
Wasn't Felipe the guy ripping everyone's videos?
There were actually two video I needed from him too. It was that LF video he had that featured Cocoon by Sammy Lincoln from April 04, which had my 2nd favorite satellite graphics package. He also had Park Place by Lincoln from July 04. I can't believe I forgot to get these with the Youtube Downloader tool.

They were from another site. yes Felipe stole those videos but i guess he's better now.
-
Victor, I dug around Youtube a little bit and found one of your comments saying he took the satellite LF from twcclassics, but I don't ever recall it being on there.
What about the Park Place video? Does anyone know what site that video was supposedly on?
-
It was. It was also on TWC Today but it was deleted back in November.
The Park Place clip is from Chazz. U can PM him for that on youtube
-
I hope twctoday/classics still has the video stored somewhere.
And is Chazz "theweatherchazz" seen on Youtube? I don't know his actual name here.

It was not deleted. If you remember, thats when all my stuff vanished from Matt's server.
If its not on the site, I probably don't have it. Sorry. :(

I hate the Chris Geith song this month.
You talking about "Zero Gravity"? That's actually one of my favorites this month!
Yep, I hate that song with a passion.
Zero Gravity is one of the best songs this month, IMO. :faint:
-
Zero Gravity is pretty good. I'm surprised Gil doesn't like that song, because it sounds a lot like music by Eddie Reasoner, an artist Gil likes.
-
Yeah, it does. I just don't like some of the background instruments, like the sax.
-
Yeah, it does. I just don't like some of the background instruments, like the sax.
Oh yeah, you hate sax music, right?
-
zero gravity is too cheery for my liking.
-
Yeah, it does. I just don't like some of the background instruments, like the sax.
Oh yeah, you hate sax music, right?
I do. I hate the saxophone with a passion, except for a few songs. It's ironic, because i used to play the sax...
-
I like the saxophone. It's very upbeat to the music
