There's a significant amount of unavailable music and classic Ryan Farish songs are being played this month as well such as
* Surrounded
*Indian Summer
*Home Again
-
Ooohhh, Indian Summer is a great song, a is Palmetto Park by B-F Project.
BTW, the listing for that Benoit/Freeman song is incorrect. It should be Benoit?Freeman Project for the artist, not David Bryan Benoit. ;)
-
Yeah TWC sends too many errors in the playlists. I'll fix it thanks! :)
-
I have a feeling this could be a turning point in the music...the return of the Benoit-Freeman Project, touch more Rippingtons, Lenny Marcus Trio, and Bobby Love.
-
In case I haven't mentioned this here...I think playing (essentially) the same songs every month is no better than playing an entire new batch of songs every three or six months. If they really want to "shake things up" music-wise, they need to play some songs that grab your attention. They seem to be partial to radio-friendly songs that blend in with the couch. I'm not saying these songs are bad, but a lot of them are rather forgetful and are the kind of songs you can hear across the room and not really listen to them.
-
Wow, they're playing Bobby Love this month? :o Also finally some older Ryan Farish tunes. I wonder if this new person is reading our posts. It seems that after we've been complaining that they are playing the same stuff, they switch to different artists.
Also, Thunder, Healer is not on Selected Works. It's on Daydreamer.

I couldn't agree more! ;)

Nope you're wrong on both cases. It's on Beyond the horizon ;)
Well this playlist is considered "above average"
I cant wait for LFMusicFan's response! :thrilled:
-
Wow! Bobby Love!? I guess TWC really did listen to our requests! I also see a few new artists, like John Brighton and Kathy Ball.

I taped the entire overnight playlist last night, and I didn't hear "Surrounded" by Ryan Farish.
-
Its safe to say that this is YET ANOTHER awful playlist.

What? <_< That's what the playlist said.

Just because it's on the playlist doesn't mean it will play every night. The music computer seems to be completely random. It's all luck and chance whether you will hear a particular song.

How does the TWC music randomization work?

How does the TWC music randomization work?
I imagine they have a piece of software that does it for them. It's like going into iTunes/Windows Media Player/any other media player and turning the "random" or "shuffle" feature on.
-
i like this playlist, especially PT
-
Taped the entire overnight playlist again, and still no Surrounded.

it must be a playlist error like Miss Libby. <_<

Not necesarily. During the July playlist, "After Sunset" by Vince Madison and the Joe Laksota song would rarely play. Maybe once or twice a week. I'll try and tape again tonight.
-
Please do. I haven't heard Surrounded since November 2005
Also After Sunset played in the May/June 2007 list, not July ;)

I heard Surrounded two times in a row, but I couldn't capture them. :(

It's pretty far in the song. I'll have to hear it again tonight.

I'm falling in love with the primetime playlist, but i have no way to record them  <_<
-
OMG! The music randomization computer is really screwed up. The same song has played 4 times in a row!

that song is nice! Isnt it Amazing by Tony Yardley. I bought thatsong on itunes. If they played the same Ryan Farish tune 4 times that would be better! :thrilled:
-
i recorded that song
-
I've seen that happen before. Not long ago I was watching and they played the same Ryan Farish tune 3 times in a row. It happens I guess. :sunglasses:
-
I remembered back in February 2000, they played Still In the Deuce by Funktelligence 7 times. I had it recorded on tape with the XL v1 but lost it <_<
-
Still in the Deuce must of been a popular song. It was heavily used in 2000, and for a month or two in 2001 too.

i love that song but its being overplayed <_<
-
Yeah, but not lately. Since 2005, it has only been used on four playlists, which is a lot less than other songs.
-
i'm glad the music guy decided to taper the Everlasting songs
-
I don't get what's so bad about his Everlasting album. I think most of the songs are very pleasent and relaxing to listen to.

Does anyone want this playlist to end? Its getting boring <_<
