They abbreviated Thunderstorms with "T-Storms". Like "Sct T-Storms" or "Strong T-Storms".

Does anyone know how 'scattered strong thunderstorms' would show up on the XL during the daypart and week ahead screens? I ran into this problem yesterday while creating a video for Gulfport. Since the XL spells out 'scattered' during the daypart forecast, and 'strong thunderstorms' already takes up 2 lines, how would it show up?
During the daypart, "Sct'd Strong" would appear on the first line followed by Thunderstorms as usual on the bottom line.
During the week ahead, "Sct'd" displays on the first line, followed by "Strong" on the second line and "Storms" on the bottom/3rd line.

Hope this helps!

Well I found Wayne Gerard's "I'm All About You" on the old mp3.com.
http://web.archive.org/web/20000707023126/artists.mp3s.com/artists/29/wayne_gerard.html

If ya'll are able to find a way to play the track, let us know but I'm guessing this is where all of Wayne Gerard's unavailable music used to be, same with Ryan Farish and Chris Geith. :(

Did they reduce the number of beeps for a Severe Thunderstorm Warning crawl from 7 to 4? Both warnings I've had only had 4 beeps...

I think they did, I was under a Severe T-Storm Warning and Flood Warning yesterday and it only beeped 4 times.

That's odd...
Did you hear this at all?:
3 Beeps, then "A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for your area", then 3 more beeps?

I'm going to recant that now... It just fixed itself, as well as trying to initialize the crawl four times

I've had several warnings today and only heard the usual 3 and 3.

Vic, those songs can't be downloaded in any way because they no longer exist on the server.

We had a severe thunderstorm warning issued until 9pm. Nothing at all, no thunder or rain. :( I did record a 1 min local forecast of the warning activated though.

And Gary, I understand now. I guess it wouldn't work if they archived the player either.

I see that. Don't worry, it will transition eventually.
Remember this:
In November 2008, the October playlist continued for the first two days of the month, and on the 3rd and 4th, November songs were intermingled with the October songs until it finally transitioned over to the November playlist.

In January 2009, the playlist did not change from December to January songs until the first Monday of the month, January 6th.

So be patient, it will happen over the next 24-48 hours.
...or wait a couple weeks, since something appears to be happening at TWC
