Today, my Comcast headend replaced the TWC SD Feed with a letterboxed version of the IS2 HD Feed. It appears cable companies are slowly phasing out the IntelliStar.

Same thing happened to my headend 2 months ago.

My Time Warner Cable headends replaced the SD IntelliStar to the Letterboxed version of IntelliStar 2 HD Feed.
I'm a weatherman. I love my weather. I would love to go any trips if the weather is nicer.

I really think TWC should bring back the L-Bar local forecast. It should replace the LDL local on the 8's that pops up every ten minutes when the long form shows are on and only then.

I've been seeing periodic CC outages on my STAR lately.

TWC IntelliSTAR- Astoria, OR- Mar. 13, 2015- 12:48PM PDT

Anyone else seeing this on their end?

Same here. Both on my IS and IS2. The IS2 only shows the radar, local forecasts and the 7 day.

Me too. I have 2 LF videos of this occurring to my star. It all started after the DST transition.

My IS2 starts right on the radar and doesn't show the CC screen at all.

Charter in Fort Worth also did the same thing three years ago.

It's probably been a long time since a weather warning (other than a Winter Storm Warning a week or 2 ago) was issued for my area, but has the alert tone changed on the IntelliStars?

Has anyone been seeing phrases like "hot," "cold," "not as warm," "colder" etc on their text forecasts at all lately? I haven't seen them in months, even during the bitter cold spells we had last month.

Looks like the :48 locals during long form have returned after a 3 month hiatus. Probably due to my complaint to @daveclark.

Unfortunately there was no LF at :48,  as I looked just now.

When does TWC air full screen LOT8s during longform? It seems to be inconsistent; sometimes it's :08/:38 and others it's :18/:48.
