Post by: Localonthe8s on February 01, 2009, 12:07:29 PM
I just heard a new song @ :58 and it's not Trammell.

Yeah, I heard that too. I guess what's why we heard Trammell at 11:28 AM ET, as they were fooling around with the playlist.

Now they're playing Above the Clouds by Chris Geith from "last" month's list. I'm guessing they're phasing into it...

EDIT: New song @ :38 sounds like Lao Tizer. Gonna open the slingbox...

They've played songs from Everlasting too much in 2006 and 2007, and I'm still tired of the songs (not that I don't like them).

I agree, that sucks. They should play more older songs.

Agreed. The song sucks, I give it a 2/5 rating. The only song that I liked the best from the everlasting CD is Dedicated (last heard on Nov 07 primetime), and Wildflower(last heard July/Aug 07 daytime).

The cut of Brave New World this month is different than both the cut used last June and during the Steve Hurst era. This month's cut seems to start at or near the beginning of the song.

I agree with you two. It's way worst than the 2007 playlist, and there are some songs that were last used on 2008. Anyways, thanks for the playlist.

Some notes:

-This is the first time since January 2008 they used a Ryan Farish song from the everlasting CD.
-Returning artists: Brian Simpson (last featured Dec 07), and Armik (last featured 2006)
-This is the first time since Dec 07 they used a Mark K song in the overnight daypart.

New artists:
Mark Barrios
Funkee Boy (Bobbi Tammaro)
Reggie Codrington
Darryl Alexander
Walter Beasley
Terry Vital
Eric Essix

7 new artists.

From Gary Oleyar. We were talking about his song "AltoStratus", when he said that the lady music programmer rejected it.

I know. I thought the song was credited to Reasoner though. Was that an error on TWC's part?
