why do people praise the satellite lf?

Don't you want local weather information too?

The Junior and 4000 are classics and they're narrationless

I wish I was the TWC music guy too. :( I have satellite and hate it. Even though I don't watch TWC anymore, I somehow miss my LF. I think everyone knows that I like LF music and which timeframe I liked the best. :sunglasses:

The music (along with the STAR's) is pretty much the only thing I like about the current TWC.

I like a few of the songs playing on the playlist. The music has been going way downhill, IMO.

I'd love to have satellite so I could record my favorite unavailable songs.

I didn't care about the pre-2000 music except for Ficara, Bobby Love, Andrew Korus, Bryan Savage and Trammell Starks.

EDIT: forgot to add George Hummingbird

I like the older music, like from the late 80s-early 90s.  They have recently played some of these tunes lately, but only for a very short while, then its onto something else.

That i predicted, and also " why do i think their will be more 90's music in the future"? because so far 90's music has been a pattern since the new twc music director has been at the healm

Eddie was used a few times in 1999 too, but his music was played much more heavily in the early 2000's.

i will always love the weather channel music ! :twothumbs: i'm mostly after songs that you may or may not ever here again like night wind by terry coleman or that first unknown song  up under the unoffical february and april 2007 play list on pg.3 and that is my favorite one. as for my mother she all about ryan farish and ficara and she even suggest they should play some of ron allen music also known as thomas walker on the weather channel .
p.s. i don't listen to ron allen music

I like it when they play tunes that I remember from the 1980s thru the mid 90s.

There was one tune I vividly remember that they played alot in the late 1980s, but I have not heard it in years... it was very "striking".
