Nope. 2.x is the current verison. The 2005 update was a "subversion" of version 1.

It's possible they may have some new units still hanging around somewhere, but its pretty unlikely.

If they ever do new graphics on the intelliSTAR. They should make them be redone so they can match their current on air graphics.

The only way i will love the intellistar is if the narration on the 36hr or 48hr forecast would only say  for ex. "today", "For Tonight", "and on Monday". etc. instead of describing the forecast just say the day.

The only problem I have with the IntelliStar is their current design that came into play October 23, 2007... Hopefully, based off the schedules they used in the past, they change the design later this year...

That's what I don't like about it either, I would rather have the previous design than this one.

Geesh! Always hating on the IS. I love the IS. The narrations dont bother me at all. If im not near the tv i can hear the forecast. Traffic is great for my area as well.
