Title: Weather Star III/3000
Post by: Lightning on April 29, 2013, 06:28:17 PM
How were selections made as to what locations would be on the "Latest Hourly Observations", "Conditions Across The Region" and "Forecast Across The Region" pages, relative to the location you were watching TWC from?

I have no idea. I've often wondered the same thing, though. Same with the cities on the travel cities and business travel forecasts.

No idea on how the cities/locations were selected, but the original ordering of the locations was north to south (instead of alphabetical). The exception being the forecast table, which was alphabetical.

I've just always been curious as to how this was done. I don't guess we'll ever know?

Sorry for bumping this, but back then, there were fewer observation sites than there are today.
