Title: Era for the WeatherSTAR 4000 Emulator v3 by TaigaNet
Post by: masoudfun1996 on January 02, 2012, 12:40:07 AM
I was kinda wondering, what era was it for the WeatherSTAR 4000 Emulator v3 by TaigaNet?

Is it the 1990-1991, 1991-1992, 1992-1994, or the 1994-present era?

It's sort of a hybrid, including elements visual elements from late 1992 through about 1999.

Yeah, I was gonna wonder about it being a hybrid.. the 8-color scale is on the radar, which I think debuted after 1994, the TCF has the gradient scroll, and the icons are the 1992-1994 set (before some of them got modified a bit for what now makes up the modern set used today)

Oh yah, I forgot it includes the Local Update from 95.

If you're going by the radar and the TCF and not using the Local Update), then it'd be circa early August, 1994, the only time in which the 8-color radar and gradient TCF were used in tandem.

But weren't the regional map icons changed earlier that year? I was thinking more like late 93.
