Title: Can a hurricane 'cross' from one ocean to another?

I've always stumbled on this. Has there ever been an Atlantic hurricane that crossed southern central America into the Pacific and retained hurricane or TS status  in the Pac? Vice versa? Or impossible? Like Ernesto crossed panama but dissipated in the Pacific

Yes. I'm sure there are others, but the first one that came to mind for me was Bret in 1993.
