Harmonic Tides - Invalid Location?
« on: October 12, 2012, 03:53:23 PM »
Hey Brian, thanks for fixing the issue with the extended forecast! However, I am noticing another new issue coming up. In CINE, when I try to get tides configured, I follow the directions as follows, but then at the top I get an error in red that says "Location, "<location>" can't be found! Try copy/paste method.", and I am copying/pasting the title.

Thanks!

This was a server-side issue. When I moved the server to a different platform, I didn't check the tide calculator to make sure it was still calculating. I fixed this.

I added the following tides locations:
Current Configuration:

Tide Slot 1 Location: Port Manatee, Tampa Bay, Florida
Displayed as: Port Manatee, Tampa Bay

Tide Slot 2 Location: Safety Harbor, Old Tampa Bay, Florida
Displayed as: Safety Harbor, Old Tampa Bay

I activated this product in your emulator. Please make sure that the tides show for you.

I hope you didn't mind me doing this, but I changed the tides to match the locations set on the local IS here. But now I'm getting the local weather unavailable screen :hmm: And I was too when you made the change

Brian, I can confirm the issue is related to the Boat and Beach segment.. I removed it from my lineup and the emulator started working again so I added it back and then it stopped working.

Zach, I fixed this problem as well. The Emulator was pulling in the coastal maps from an older URL. This will be available in my next release. I hope to get this together real soon. (maybe even today if time permits). Here is an image of what your Tides look like ..
