The coldest it has been so far was on the morning of the 14th when it dropped to 18°F.

Morning Low: 29°F
Lowest Wind Chill Reading This Morning: 18°F

Today will only reach the mid 40s, this is only a string of what will be several days with highs in the 40s. 1-2 inches of rain is expected this week along with possibly some freezing rain/sleet mix during the onset Monday night and possibly some wrap-around snow from the secondary ULL that pulls out on Wednesday. I'm not betting my bottom dollar on it right now though. :no:

Red flag warnings don't sound like they go with cold weather.  I guess it's because of the wind, but still, that sounds like crazy weather.  :noexpression:

Yeah that's what I think. But you can still get fires no matter what the temp. The humidity and dew points are extremely low today. Plus were in a deep drought. My dew is currently at -3°F with a temp of 30.1°F. There were two major fires today, one in NJ and one right near me on LI. The smoke cloud actually traveled over me. Our neighborhood was so smokey.

37.8°F  Clear skies

Our high today was 48°F. Temps have dropped like a rock since sunset a few hours ago. Our low is supposed to be around 30-32, but I could easily see us dropping into the 20's again tonight before the clouds start streaming in from the west from the next big storm maker.
