Amazed at how much it cleared up. Almost clear skies after having heavy rain, near hurricane force winds and 100% cloudy skies.

39F Sunny, chilly low to mid 40s with wind gusts of 30-40mph expected on this doomsday. :P

Rain returns just in time for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

49° and Windy. Gusting to 40mph at times. I'm certainly not use to this kind of wind down here. A day indoors it will be. However, there is not a cloudy in the sky. If it were warmer and less wind, it would be a perfect apocalypse day!

30°F Cloudy, Breezy, and Flurries

Only a trace of snow has fallen, but 0.43" of rain did fall yesterday.  Winds have gusted up to 30 mph so far, but the worst is yet to come with the High Wind Warning in effect until Saturday.

The highest wind gust overnight was 54 mph, and the morning's low was 25°F.  Only a trace of snow fell as it was all flurries flying in the wind.  Meanwhile, a station in the mountains of NC near Boone had a wind gust of 67 mph.

Wow, it's really dry outside. I can't remember the last time we had DPs in the low teens. :no: Now if only that Christmas storm came today and traveled further SE than it's modeled to... ah, one can only dream. :happy:
