It's getting cold again.  High of 61 should be reached by 9 or 10 AM before plunging to 51 or so by midday. Low tonight sits around 37, with wind gusts upwards of 50 mph.  :brr:

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

74 w/ Overcast. It rained for nearly 6 hours yesterday, all of it heavy and moderate rain. Radar esimates over 2" of rain fell within a 3 hour period of time. Today, it's possible for a repeat as PWAT's are in the 2-2.5" range over much of SC. Instabliity is lacking, both surface and most unstable (<1000 J/kg) and it looks like warming up isn't much in favor at the time. Not expecting thunderstorms, just rain with the off chance of some thunder here and there.
