60°F Partly Cloudy and Windy

Don't see these kinds of statements often!:

... Dry and windy weather for today...

Persistent dry weather with low relative humidities and gusty
winds will promote the spread of ignited brush fires across the
local area.

Most areas received less than 1/2 inch of rain so far this month.
West winds around 15 mph are forecast to gust to around 25 mph as
relative humidities decrease to 30 to 40 percent this afternoon.

If brush fires are ignited... these conditions will aid in the spread
of them.

These conditions fall short of reaching red flag warning criteria.
However... continue to monitor your latest National Weather Service
forecasts.

It's currently in the upper 70's around 79° with windy conditions and a few passing clouds. It feels great outside!  :thrilled:

SPC has issued a slight risk along with a 30% chance on their probibilities map. Storms will be in a favorable time of day (when daytime heating is at it's greatest) and upper level winds will be supportive of convective storms as well as damaging winds, hail, and possibly tornadoes(isolated-lower chance). I'm really glad that the timing is in the afternoon as I can track these storms and not be in school during that time.

I'm very confused now, I don't know if it's February or July. I don't think I have ever seen a case where it was this freakin' warm on a late February morning. Seriously, it was 69 when I went to bed around a quarter to midnight and that's exactly where it is right now 7 hours later! :o Thunderstorms (some severe) will be moving in later this morning into early afternoon.

32° Snow It's coming down pretty hard by now.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon.
Quote from: NWS
... WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY... * TIMING... WET SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING THEN TAPER OFF TO LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS AND FLURRIES FOR THIS AFTERNOON. * ACCUMULATIONS... AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL FROM THE PREDAWN HOURS INTO THE LATE MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO SNOW SHOWERS AND FLURRIES FOR THIS AFTERNOON. * MAIN IMPACT... HEAVY WET SNOW MAY FALL AT RATES GREATER THAN AN INCH PER HOUR AT SOME LOCATIONS DURING THE PREDAWN AND MORNING HOURS. THIS WILL LIKELY RESULT IN QUICK ACCUMULATION OF WET SNOW ON ROADS... RESULTING IN SLIPPERY AND POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS. * OTHER IMPACTS.. DUE TO THE HIGH LIQUID CONTENT OF THE SNOW... THOSE WITH HEALTH CONCERNS SHOULD USE CAUTION WHEN SHOVELING. THE HEAVY WET SNOW MAY ALSO LEAD TO WEIGHTED DOWN BRANCHES AND POWER LINES. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES... AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING. &&

Tornado Warning out just a county to my south. These storms are getting pretty severe and I have a warning in my area for Severe Thunderstorms. Quite a lightning show. It's 74.3 with a Heavy Thunderstorm.

EDIT: 1 House Destroyed, 2 Damaged from a Tornado or Straight line winds in Colleton county. A tornado warning was in effect there.

79° and Fair.

It has been a brutally windy and hot day across Florida today. Attached below are three cities I chose conditions from my CC screen. Vandenberg is what the report is from, showing the wind. I included Ft. Pierce, FL for the temperature and finally, Daytona Beach because of the wind gust.

Currently:  38°F Mostly Cloudy and Breezy

Earlier today, it reached 68°F as the high before the front arrived.  Further east in VA, it got up to 79°F in Danville, which set a new record high.

Now, that mild spell is gone as winds are gusting from the northwest up to 30 mph, and I actually saw a few snowflakes flying around in the wind an hour ago.
