51F Mostly Cloudy/Windy

Getting the "Strong winds may be causing power outages" message on weather.com again: sustained wind speeds at 29 mph, gusting to 48 mph.

44F and Cloudy
We had our first thunderstorm of the year today.
It wasn't too windy today, strangely the top wind gusts for the day here on LI reached upwards of 50mph.
Weak!
But tomorrow's winds are going to be even stronger.  :tropicalstorm:

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

Currently:  24F Cloudy

Today's High:  30F
Today's Low:  21F
Today's Snowfall:  0.1"
Total Season Snowfall:  1.3"

Just for comparison, yesterday's high was 52F, and the low was 30F.  It was a nice cool down, but we're still searching for snow.

Technically, freezing is when it hits 32F or lower. ;)

Well duh. Everyone knows that, I was saying that it is a lot colder here. 32 degrees is just freezing, but a wind chill of 2 is really freezing, if you know what I mean.

I want all of you to stop picking at everyone's opinions on their weather.  Everyone is allowed to express them freely without being criticized for it as weather is relative to each and every person.  Please keep this in mind, and let's carry on from here:

41F Partly Cloudy

Winter weather advisory for light sleet and freezing rain until tomorrow morning, although it will be mainly a rain event for my part of the county.
