62 and overcast with haze and breezy. Winds 24 gusts to 36. A wind advisory remains in effect until 5 AM for gusts to 50 mph. Tonight's forecast - blowing dust.

63°F Drizzle

As of 8 PM EDT yesterday, 1.04" of rain fell in Blacksburg from this past rain event.  However, it's worth noting that some locations not too far away got anywhere from 3-8" of rain during this same time with significant flash flooding reported.

70° Fair. 1.4" of rain fell yesterday and overnight. More thunderstorms this afternoon. All night it stormed on and off with pulse thunderstorms. It was kinda strange.   :P

I have a feeling that there's going to be a lot of radiational cooling out in the pine barrens tonight. Might even get close to freezing :brr: in the pine barrens, it's already 49°F there.
