Lots of high cirrus today! I hope a fire rainbow appears!
-
Thunderstorm just came from out of nowhere! :D
-
Nice to see another lightning-photographer, Martin!
Even though some of these pictures are from last summer, I wasn't a member here then so I thought I would show them...
Here are some lightnings shots, and Sundog shots I have...and some Mammatus Clouds.
You can see a bunch more of my weather shots at my flickr account:

Sunset a few evening ago I took from my boat

Saw some awesome towering cumulus clouds tonight. The lighting from the sun was just so nice I had to pull over at the lake and snap some pictures. B)

Local Coverage of the Tornado Warning in Northern Worcester County, MA
So, where's the tornado? :P It just shows there's still a large false alarm rate when it comes to tornado warnings as most won't see anything.

Tail Cloud from that Worcester County Tornado Warning Storm

Heres two I took. First one was taken yesterday and the second one was taken today (click to enlarge)

Wow, I've tried taking pictures of lightning before, but I would be too late. I probably wasted hundreds of pics to lightning misses.
-
I <3 monsoonal storms. Especially the ones with amazing clouds. This was taken today.
-
:wow: I would frame those!! Amazing
-
These photos were taken yesterday. Showers & scattered thunderstorms hopscotched their way through my area in the evening but didn't produce much rain.
-
Great shots! We could use the rain. Send any you get to me! :)

We had some decent scattered showers yesterday and today. A stray shower just passed by and formed this beautiful rainbow, viewable from my bedroom window.
-
Beautiful shot, Ana...thank you so much for posting!!! :thrilled:

A cluster of heavy rain went through my area, causing some minor flooding in both the back and front yards. Can't wait to show some of my pics to my local CBS affiliate.

Who needs Peter Lik? These photos are absolutely amazing! Great job, everyone.
I (finally) got a digital camera for Christmas, so if anything exciting happens weather-wise, I hope to snap some good photos.
I am a huge fan of the lightning and storm pics! Great job!

Here are some pictures of the Dallas white-out conditions Friday, February 4. What you're looking at is four inches of snow from Friday over about an inch of ice from Tuesday.

I can imagine that you're stunned about winter in your area right now, Andy.

On Saturday, we had a HUGE storm that pass through the San Diego area. It brought like.. an inch or so of rain. But it's not just the rain that came, it was also HAIL! ^_^ At around 10 my time (I think), pea-sized hail fell for 5 minutes, and I was lucky enough to take a quick pic from my phone. Though it is a bit hard to see, but look closer, and you'll see the hail on my sister's balcony. I'm so psyched that I've seen hail, the last time I've seen hail in person was kindergarten!

A rainbow from a thunderstorm in Florida when I was there last Summer:
Mammatus clouds:
-
Taken not too long ago from a very slow moving thunderstorm. It caused some flash flooding in our backyard making it look like a swamp. Excuse the crappy picture quality.
-
Got a nice shot of a rainbow this evening
-
Got out and got some pictures of river flooding in my area.

Taken at 5 PM today
-
Excellent picture of a full rainbow from earlier this evening
-
Taken on 9/29/11 after a squall line of thunderstorms came through. Nice clear skies after.

The calm before the storm...
This is what the sky looked like 30 minutes prior to severe thunderstorms ravaging Norman last night. If I had turned the camera 90 degrees to the left, you would have seen some serious, dark, threatening clouds.
-
Take a look at the snow in my backyard!!!!!!!!
-
This one is from March 15, 2012 when I saw 1.5" diameter hail.
This is kind of a blurry picture, but you can definitely notice that in comparison to a quarter, the hailstones are a bit larger.
-
Nice sun. It's got a ray around it!
-
A strong cell to the northeast of Grand Forks, with a confirmed tornado on it.
-
Took some photos of a beautiful sunset from my house :)
-
Some clouds after today's storm.
-
I took these three photos while out in Tampa earlier this evening. All three were taken along Bayshore Boulevard, right at the mouth of Hillsborough Bay. The first one is a rainbow overlooking Hillsborough Bay, the second one is a nice cumulonimbus cloud I saw towering to the east, also overlooking Hillsborough Bay, and the last one is a view of Downtown Tampa's skyline from Bayshore Boulevard at sunset.
-
Took this from my WeatherCam (http://www.stormchasetn.com/wxcams/southaven) a few minutes ago.
-
Took these this evening of a nice rainbow, these were taken from my phone, the rainbow was a bit more vivid in reality.
-
Nice sea breeze thunderstorm that built up, perfect day for one, temps in the 80's and 90's, dew points in the upper 70's and around 80.
EDIT: You also notice how the camera lens fogged up a bit, goes to show how humid it was outside!
-
Took these photos about 15-20 minutes ago as a thunderstorm is (slowly) moving in the area.
-
I took these pictures of a supercell about 15 miles to my south (near the MI/OH border closer to Toledo) back on July 7.
-
Got cold? Pics I took of the Great South Bay frozen over and pics I took at Heckscher State Park.
-
March 1, 2009: I loved this snowstorm, the only one where I've seen thundersnow. I don't know who in my family took the bad photo though. :P The shot was taken right from the front side of my house. It must have been taken from inside, that would explain why it's so bright (and part of our awning is visible) at the top.
-
I took the first picture outside of my school Tuesday afternoon when it was snowing. The second one was taken outside ny window last Thursday night, after it had snowing (and it was probably still snowing).
-
Snow from today. 0.8" total today bringing the season total to 35.4".
-
I took this picture on March 15, 2012. Relatively slow-moving, but severe thunderstorms developed that afternoon/evening, producing very large hail, localized flash flooding, and a few tornadoes, including an EF-0 in Ida, MI, which is barely 5 miles to my west, an EF-2 in Columbiaville, MI, and an EF-3 in Dexter, MI (just northwest of Ann Arbor.) Some of the hailstones I measured were up to ping pong ball size, or 1.5" in diameter!
-
See the droplets on this tree? That's ice. Let me check the date on my calendar. April 10th. Yeah...
-
Just some photos I took earlier in HDR. It's amazing. The pictures couldn't upload on here so here are the links to Wunderground where I uploaded my photos instead.

Here some pics I uploaded to Wunderground. The rainbow actually looked more vivid in real life than in the pics

You were actually able to see the rain drops falling through the rainbow. It was so vivid. Also there were several rainbows below the main one, and it's was like a ripple effect.

Here's something that I took yesterday. Just some distant rainstorm clouds off the coast of Oregon. This photo was taken from a scenic viewpoint right off Highway 101 somewhere between the towns of Manzanita and Cannon Beach.

I took this picture on June 27, 2013 of cloud to ground lightning, which struck not too far from where I was standing.
-
There were some pretty nasty thunderstorms that rolled through parts of eastern Washington, including where I was in the Grand Coulee area. I drove around the area and there were a lot downed trees. Here is a photo that I took of a downed tree and the damage it caused to a house in the town of Coulee Dam.
