I would expect my area in NJ to get 6 inches. That's about it.

TWC is forecasting that much here for me in Atlanta, but if were caught under one of those very heavy snow bands, we'll get more than that most likely, I hate the NWS here they are very scary on perdicting any kind of snow, if we get that kind of snow they will have no choice but to upgarde us to a Winter Storm Warning because a Winter Weather Advisory would be too weak to alert to those kinds of accumulations. Also have you guys heard about the 3 inch snow bands that whipped through Memphis? They picked up that much in just 45 minutes! Talk about intense! :thrilled:

It's 44° and steadily falling with light rain, I'm a little worried about ice on the roads from this as it falls to and/or below freezing today. There's 3 things that caught my eye from TWC's forecast because they are a big change since 6 hours ago.

Rain early with snow by afternoon. Thunder possible. Morning high of 43F with temps falling to near freezing. Winds NNW at 15 to 25 mph. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected.

We're expected to have 5-8 inches tonight, and another 1-3 tomorrow. Gusty winds too, which are perfect ingredients for a blizzard. Been waiting for this to happen since 2003!

Would anyone be interested in IntelliStar clips during this event?

LOL, I know how you feel Jesse. Although, in this particular case, I don;t mind the snow. We haven't seen much snow this year, so my tolerance hasn't been spent yet!  :D

Sounds good Mike! I'm thinking of posting some 4000 emulator clips during the event.

Kim said Philadelphia 6-8 in, New York 8-10 in. And CBS3 says the more east, the more snow so I'm guessing the shore will get the most.

When it comes to big storms, I have trouble putting much faith in TWC's forecast. They've been notorious for blowing forecast big time. I'll wait and see what the local weather people say this evening.  :D

TWC and the NWS are both saying 1-3 inches for my area, and we're now under a Winter Storm Warning.
