Did they change it back?

According to http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/national/2012/07, under "Climate Highlights - July," bullet point #1:

"The average temperature for the contiguous U.S. during July was 77.6F, 3.3F above the 20th century average, marking the warmest July and all-time warmest month on record for the nation in a period of record that dates back to 1895. The previous warmest July for the nation was July 1936, when the average U.S. temperature was 77.4F."

Who knew?   This "warmest year every year" business even as the real numbers said otherwise was bound to hit a head as surely as the above normal hurricane forecasts did.  While they might not be literally proclaiming each July as the warmest, it seems like I hear "hottest ever" at least once a summer.  Even if they retained July 2012 as the warmest month, their waffling on it says something.
