The Boston area is expected to get another 15-20 inches of snow.  Really, we don't have enough space for all the snow we already have!  Enough is enough already!!  :sos:

I bet even a lot of the diehard snowlovers in the North wished they had of been careful of what they wished for this winter. Old Man Winter is really kicking our butts along the East Coast this winter. This is the snowiest La Nina winter I have ever been through, the only one I think comes close is the '95- '96 winter.

Here is the current warning/watch map from the Storm Prediction Center. All that blue and pink you see are winter storm watches, advisories, and warnings. This storm looks to slam a whole slew of areas from New Mexico ( :o ) up into Pennsylvania and eventually farther north.

NOTE: This map updates periodically on its own. This map will no longer apply to the current situation in about 48-72 hours.

More information, from CNN. Extremely cold air will push its way southward into the Southern Plains, bringing in high temperatures around 50 degrees below average. The Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma are expected to see lows Monday night just above 0. Oklahoma City could see the mercury hit 3 degrees Tuesday night. Below zero temperatures are a very real possibility from Kansas and Missouri northward.

This storm means serious business. Anyone in the path of this storm, PLEASE stay safe. Oh, and enjoy your snow days.  :thrilled:

By what I'm seeing It is looking more and like the set up of The Christmas Ice Storm of 2007 which was a EPIC storm around here and it is scaring the bejezzus out of me. I would rather have the snow.

Rather interesting how the media gives every storm now a name.

Woke up to a sheet of ice this morning. The usual 5-50 inches is expected for this afternoon into Wednesday morning. This is the third time in a month that I've had to cancel my piano lesson due to snow. As I said on FB, I'm starting to get pissed that Al Gore is full of s***.

Interesting indeed.

Also, the journalists and meteorologists here and on The Weather Channel (Kelly and Adam mentioned it a few times last night) are really emphasizing that they are not trying to scare people, just inform.  Using words like "crippling" and "dangerous" do not really comfort me :P.

Looks like the storm might track a smidge southward than last night, so my area is going to get probably 12-15" instead of the 13-18" previously thought.  I am completely okay with that :D.

The only weather that I absolutely dread is ICE.  I'd rather see 3 feet of snow than a 1/2 inch of ice.  Dangerous stuff right there.
